Ella is awesome! I have so many fun memories of crafty sleepovers with friends when I was a kid. How lovely for her to do some crochet with her friends. I think even as an adult a crochet sleepover sounds awesome!! My recommendation for a knitter of the day is Julia Gillard. She is a former prime minister of Australia and our first female prime minister. When the first royal baby of the british royal family of prince william and princess kate was born, she knit a toy kangaroo as a baby gift to send from the people of Australia. At the time she was heavily criticised (mainly by the conservative mysoginst media) for being "frivolous" but she stood up against the criticism very well.

I love the color of your Ranunculous. I’ve yet to make one and I must. Love your selection of socks and also your green metal sock blockers. Your daughter looks so like you, it’s amazing. Thank you for another lovely episode 🥰👏 I think knitte of the day should be Pia Olsen Dyhr, who is a also knitter. Last autumn she invited 50 knitters to Christiansborg and did a guided tour. After the tour we were chatting away about politics and of course knitting🧶🧶🧶 It was a very interesting day for me and I really appreciated that she took the time to do it 🙏🙏🙏

Same as the heel, I also do a slip stitch toe reinforcement on the front of the foot. My partner wears out his socks at the big toe!
