I just had to return a Jura E6 to Costco due to malfunctioning after owning for 6 months that was disappointing. It stopped producing coffee and prompted to turn the water knob to fill the machine but did not solve the issue. I ran extra cleaning, changed the filter when not called for and did not solve the issue either. Went back to my aging KRUPS automatic machine. I am hesitant about purchasing any new machine since the new ones seem unreliable and not lasting like the older machines. Thanks for the informative video!

I tired of these thermoblocks they dont get hot enough, how about options for super automatic with boilers?

Way too much options and settings. It would drive me nuts, it would take me too much time to figure out which grinding and aroma setting I like best. Add to that the countless different coffee beans... I would be testing all the time instead of just enjoying a cup. I am satisfied with my humble Melitta Caffeo Solo. Only three settings for coffee strength and three for grinding. I will never know if it could be better when the grinding were to bet set to even finer or coarser and I am just fine with that. ignorance is bliss in this case.

Incoming stupid question, on the Giga 10 can u buy an extra been hopper(s) for example u have 10 guests at home multiple like different types of coffee beans so u just exchange the hopper to the beans that particular guests likes

Hi e, We do not stock individual hoppers but they may be available direct from Jura. Be aware if you remove a hopper with beans loaded you'll likely have some beans left behind underneath the hopper which may be difficult to deal with.

Hi, From ease of use standpoint, overall value and available control I recommend the Gaggia Accademia. If you like cold brew go with the Z10 and GIGA 10 if you'd like to have 2 bean types always available. Hope that helps!

Can't be done on the Giga 10. It doesn't appear to be possible for Jura Professional line Giga X8 either.

Wow, these two are such salespeople. They get to the Giga 10 and exclaim, the Giga 10 really is, your best choice. Ha.

I think it's time to get the Gaggia Accademia, the tea functionality sold it.

How hot does the Gaggia make coffee on the highest temperature. I like really hot coffee and milk . Which super automatic makes the hottest drinks?

Hi JL, In general I find recent Gaggia machines like the Accademia make hotter espresso/coffee than Jura machines. To get highest temps using cup warming surfaces (Accademia has one) helps. Jura machines do not have heated cup warming surfaces but they do have a dedicated cup warming cabinet www.wholelattelove.com/products/jura-cup-warmer-platinum
Do not have to go that far. Could just pre-heat the cups with hot water or other means. For machines which froth milk automatically, you are likely to be disappointed if extra hot milk is your thing. Most machines do milk to it's sweet point at ~140F/60C or below. Go to hot with milk and it loses sweetness. Barista are trained to go to that 140F temp. A proper latte should be able to be chugged without burning one's mouth. For those that like it really hot your best bet is a machine with manual frothing. That could be a semi-automatic machine or there are a couple of Gaggia automatic machines which have manual frothing. On those you can heat milk as hot as you like.
      Hope that helps!

wow they really screwed up on the Giga 10 not allowing us to select how much water we actually want. As a long time Giga user this is why I'm looking at other options to replace my Giga 5 which is past 12,000 cups brewed. who made this decision they should look for another job lol. they lost me as a customer
