I had such high hopes for this movie. The base material gave them so much to work with and yet they managed to turn Matthias from a brutish cult leader into a squirrelly man working for trinity, that was only mentioned in a gps cache ONCE in the 2013 game. Nothing about how Lara and her crew wrecked on the island and couldn’t leave because the spirit of Himiko cursed the island. There was just so much potential wasted
from the begining they shit on the lore of tomb raider i have seen the first 15 min of this movie and they say lara have no money are you fucking kidding me this is lara croft she must be rich as fuck because she is.
TheRManProds yes that’s the problem. It was based on the 2013 game but changed almost everything about it to where it wasn’t so enjoyable. They took out key characters and changed the rest of them to where they were early unrecognizable

10:27 He deduced that by the fact that when the trigger was stepped on, the trap was sprung behind it instead of ahead of it, based on the direction they were heading. A trap is kinda pointless if you've already passed the deadly part when you hit the trigger.
Oooh, that's a good point that I didn't notice when I watched it. I was only half paying attention so I was wondering why when they opened the door on the colour puzzle one guy was waiting there. However, why is the colour puzzle on the door leading back inwards instead of outwards?
Jeff Scott ~ The whole room was the trap, remember. The puzzle pieces were all over. The puzzle itself being on the inwards-leading door just made it that much harder, having to cross the empty floor again to go through the outwards-leading door. Doomy McDoomerson ~ IIRC, that was a double-sided trap. He either had to run ahead of the boulder to get out, and risk being crushed, or avoid being crushed but be trapped inside the cave with no way out.
The video game did it better. In the game, Himiko was a queen that had the ability to control the weather. After she died and was entombed on the island where she is guarded by her Undead Stormguard(the oni). Her curse on the island made it so anyone who came would never be able to leave. In the 1940s Imperial Japan set up several bunkers and a large base on the island that eventually became a forgotten warzone after WW2, littered with corpses of Japanese military. Present day- Mathias and several other people crash on to the island in a plane. Mathias starts a cult known as the Solarii Brotherhood, who worship queen Himiko. Lara Croft and her friends on the Endurance crash in a sea storm near the island and are stranded on the island. Mathias captures Lara's friend Sam (a descendant of Queen Himiko) to perform a ritual to transfer the Queen's soul into Sam and bring Himiko back to life but in Sam's body. Lara interrupts the ritual, kills Mathias, and himiko's soul is brought to peace, ending the curse.
My issue with the movie were two key things One: the fact that her father was indeed alive. Yes it's interesting to see the father daughter dynamic put through the ultimate test to the death but to be honest I feel like it held back her potential. Her father being dead in the game gave her a unfathomable amount of determination to avenge her father and prove he wasn't nuts. Two: It gave Himiko the same plot twist of Uncharted. The first Uncharted had the same plot twist of El Dorado. The bad fall back of this is: If they made a movie based off the first Uncharted game for anyone who's seen this Tomb Raider movie and not played the Uncharted game, they're going to assume they ripped off the plottwist from Tomb Raider. Idk. I'm bored
10:23 It definitely was designed to keep people in. Lara stepped on it, but it was the guy behind that got impaled. Meaning, it was timed so that when someone was leaving the tomb, they'd step on the tile, keep walking out, then get impaled. If it was designed to keep people out, the spike would have triggered ahead of Lara.
Lara gets her butt kicked by a random female sparring partner, but a mercanary bigger than her she beats... Maybe they bad guys should have hired that sparring partner to take down Croft. Also, I hated Lara in the first act of the movie. It's a bad way to start the movie. "Oh, poor Lara... set to inherit a ton of money, but instead does silly bike races." Also, I didn't realize how much it was like the Last Crusade. I get that it's in the same genre, but even down to the diary/journal thing...
And this funny thing about the virus is that Uncharted did it first with El Dorado being pretty much a sealed coffin with a corpse carrying some kind of virus even if they dont turn into zombies.
I know right I doubt the people who made this even played the games, no doubt they just saw another opportunity to make yet another "Empowered female hero"
@@treasurebadmus Only reason I played the games, tbh. Don't blame me for being a guy; blame the creators for taking advantage of the fact that I'm a guy.
the...villain does have a motivation...he monologues about it when we first meet him... he doesn't get to see his family again until he gets this bio weapon for trinity.
Is anyone going to say it? They Scooby doo'ed Tomb Raider... lol. Whole premise of TR is 1.Something appears as supernatural 2.Lara is skeptical & overcomes huge adversities and tries to find the truth 3.Lara finds the truth which is supernatural and overcomes evil. But in Scooby doo 1.Something appears as supernatural 2.The gang investigates 3.Bad guy is making fools out of everyone and the whole situation if completely logical and non supernatural. Sooo... They Scooby doo'ed Tomb Raider...
This pretty much sums it up. The supernatural is part of Tomb Raider, without it, it's not Tomb Raider. How can they base a movie off a game and then remove everything interesting about it?
Only one problem. In Scooby-Doo movies, monsters and ghosts are real. The two live action movies. Zombie island The reluctant werewolf Boo brothers Alien invaders The witches ghost The goblin king ... the list goes on. The 13 ghosts of Scooby-doo series also has real ghosts.
I’m glad, the supernatural stuff is ridiculous. There’s more realism in this movie than other tomb raiders which is great. Laura is what, 110lb? So it makes sense that she would have a very difficult time fighting men, which she does. I appreciated that, “god mode” action movie characters who are OP, particularly beautiful women who can somehow manage to defeat well trained much stronger men isn’t interesting at all. I can’t suspend the disbelief.
hum...I'm gonna bury myself deep in this mountain, then fill the way in with a lot of deadly traps....but let's make sure all of those traps are avoidable in some way, wouldn't want too many people dying.
13:11 no sin for the fact she jumped and risked her life to land on the ladder to stop to bad guy from escaping when she could've just kicked the ladder from behind killing him.. she literally kicks the ladder away moments later so what difference does it make?
They changed too much parts of the story and added bullshit that was far from necessary. Not to mention that the game starts off with them crashing onto the island with the boat. This whole beginning is stupid and useless. Not surprised they failed yet again with making a proper video game movie.
@UnicornInTheUniverse by adding mainly meaningless connections? The game this is based on includes way more characters that shows different aspects of Lara's life before she starts raiding tombs. It makes for better backstory than simply having her biking around delivering -- sure that tells us how she'd rather have shitty jobs than admitting her father is probably dead to gain the family money and lead a comfortable life, but it would've been so much better with both.
They went for the easy route. To make the movie similiarly to the game they would have to reflect the game's constant atmosphere of danger, the whole vibe of the island that was so creepy etc. instead they made another boring action flick that everyone will forget in a day after watching it.
@UnicornInTheUniverse have to agree with the comment your replying to, actually... The game had a WAY better story and was far from "Just a girl raiding tombs and battling bad people". The game's story was actually much, much better.
If he has a map to a treasure that nobody else has thanks to his speck, then why does he need to worry about getting there first? It's only a race if other people know about it.
You completely missed Richard tying his arm off to stop the disease spread. Hence why he gets a bit more time. I mean you could sin that this worked but you missed it, so one sin for you.
For a movie made after the rebooted franchise’s first game of the Tomb Raider, it sure changed a lot of the plot details and got heavily inspired by the first Uncharted game, which copied the Tomb Raider concept, but had original plot. Like wtf dude, I feel like I am watching a recap of Uncharted with Lara instead of Natan.
because hollywood shit on the lore of tomb raider. they make there own stuff. lara is thin like hell she has no kurves no power and more she is not rich in this movie what the fuck. in every game lara croft is rich she does what she wants, and she is is not thin like an skeleton, she has power and she knows what she is doing and believe in that. she is no little poor girl that must work to get money. even in the new games of tomb raider lara croft is still lara croft not some little poor girl.
@Commander Strax i have it and the games after it. You haven't understand what I was writing. Or you doesn't understand the New games. Even in the New games is Lara rich as fuck and she goes to the Island with the because she want it she even payed the whole Trip for every other on Bord. You must read the story behind before she goes to the Island in the First game then you understand that she is the person behind the Trip anyway.
9:45 You forgot to add a sin as to WHY THE FATHER DECIDED TO SHOW UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, OUT IN THE OPEN AND WITHOUT A WEAPON! Clearly he's hallucinating to miss these 3 key factors of stealth and destroy so the plot can continue in an idiotic fashion.
This movie wasn’t great, but it was fairly adventurous and that’s what I liked about it. Alicia Vikander did a solid job in a not so solid movie. She dedicated herself to the role and I think she did really good. The stunts were entertaining and there were a few other good moments too. Unfortunately, for some reason..video games just have a hard time being made into movies. I hope one day they’ll change that. Actually...I don’t. Video games are LONG stories.. IF they have to be made into anything, make it into a TV show so you have time to tell the whole story during the season rather than in a movie that’s less than two hours. But...at the same time, it is cool to see these on the big screen. It’s a tough call. Just my opinion.
This Alicia Vikander didnt played any personality of the 2013 reboot of tomb raider character....the other was an university girl with a dad who was called a lier and was laught of by the comunity, this one is just a brat with daddy complex, pretty teens aimed the movie..a piece of shit.
Neohaggen Shiro Yeah, but what you just said is obviously not Alicia Vikander’s fault. It was clearly the writers of this movie who made her take the character that way.
I mean, not...really... What was the plot of the Tomb Raider reboot again? Lara got stranded on an island following in her dads footsteps and some dudes tried to sacrifice her friend to revive some goddess right? That doesn't sound terribly complex. Sure, if you tried to stuff an entire series worth of lore into one movie, it would inevitably fail, but the only games with long drawn out plots are story driven games and JRPG's. The former have never gotten a movie adaptation as far as I know, and the latter usually get an anime if anything.

Sin 96 - The 'How Do You Contain This Plague?' sin. Actually, it's *because* it's so immediately fatal that it could be contained. It's not airborne, it only spreads on contact (skin to skin and presumably through infected bodily fluids and probably food, and it could like stay viable in water for a time). It's a principle in disease virulence that short incubation times and rapid onset of fatal symptoms mean that there is a proportionally less chance that it will become a widespread problem. The victim doesn't get a chance to get very far from the source of infection and almost immediately showing symptoms means people will be sure to avoid them, and the rapid progrression from first sign of infection to death in turn means that so long as the bodies are avoided (or burned) and kept away from other vectors of transmission (foodstuffs and water sources in particular), the threat is basically contained. In a real sense, as diseases go, this was a pretty inefficient mutation. It's pretty much supernatural in its progression (and the fact that it can hibernate for millennia, as that's more of a spore than a bacterial or viral thing), but so long as it didn't mutate to become airborne it basically guaranteed that it would never become widespread. EDIT: Also, as to her father surviving after getting infected. They did at least attempt to explain his longevity by showing that he immediately applied a tourinquet upon noticing his infection. He definitely wouldn't have lived very much longer, but I can give it the benefit of at least a few extra minutes for the sake of the plot, since they at least tried.
I would love to see one made by people who have actually PLAYED the games their making films about. Obviously nobody who made this played the latest TR games, neither did the people who made assassins creed or the prince of Persia. It's a sad state of affairs when amateur youtubers make better films than big budget Hollywood "Professionals"
Giulio Mario Martena Clearly you haven’t played the reboot games. And the dual pistols are her signature... but she’s British - you can’h legally buy guns here
I seriously wasn't aware this movie was already out... I've been to the cinema many times this year and constantly saw previews but apparently there was no hype when it actually released?
+Christina Marie I loved the Angelina Jolie movies. Unrealistic and over the top sure, but why not? It's Tomb Raider. Nowadays people only want gritty and hyper-realistic -.-'
Daniela Martins I didn’t play the reboot series because I’m too young but other than that, I am a big tomb raider fan and I loved this movie. You’re not the only one! 🙂
I played them and liked the movie. I did have issue. Hated they took out the supernatural aspect and the guy that played Mathias is an amazing actor that they wasted by turning that role into a trinity bitch boy.
I've seen a lot of VG films, the first Tomb Raider movies were passable, Prince of Persia was enjoyable, Mortal Kombat is my guilty pleasure (also the Resident Evil movies aren't bad! Fite me 1v1!) also yes, I loved the Silent Hill movie, the second one was a bit too silly but not really the worst thing ever... but anyway, usually video game film have the same settings as the games but very different plots. This movie used the same plot but changed things to make it worse for some reason...
John Stassi hey, most video game movies at least have the decency of not borrowing too much from the plot of the game it’s based on while leaving out most of the stuff that made it great.
10:26 He deduced that because the spike erupted from the floor at a delay from the pad, indicating that it meant to kill people headed towards the exit. The more sinful thing here is that the trap didn't expect people to stop and wonder why the tile sunk into the floor in the first place, thus making the spike erupt in front of them, warning them. 11:27 No you wouldn't. No point trying to make us think you would. Don't mistake me guys, I like this channel. But Jeremy has gotten me into the habit of sinning his sins.
Vogel's motivation was to get off the island and back to his family. If someone kept me from my kids for 7 years it would be enough to turn me into a "bad guy"
Is the truth allowed here? lately cinema sins has gone more towards the hater side and away from the well thought hilarious funny side, wich i fell in love with. This comment does not include logic or a lapdance :-)
Here are all the audio outtake clips at the end: 1 (15:09): The Wire's season one theme song (HBO, 2002) 2 (15:12): The World's End (Focus Features, 2013) 3 (15:18): The Empire Strikes Back (20th Century Studios, 1980) 4 (15:28): Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Paramount Pictures, 1989) 5 (15:35): Major League (Paramount Pictures, 1989) 6 (15:40): Jay and Dean's "The Little Old Lady (from Pasadena)" (from the album The Little Old Lady From Pasadena; Liberty Records, 1964)
When you were talking about the treasure always being burried under mountains instead of something more original you actually gave me a better idea for a story I'm doing, thank you narrator 😊
@cinemasins you need to add a few more sins for 12:48 lol Let me explain - So dads right hand gets infected and so he ties up his arm trying to contain it to just that arm. Then at 12:48 when he tells lara thats hes done for, he shows her the hand using his other hand. And we all know that the disease is transmitted by touch so essentially hes just infected his left hand too just to show her 😊
Hahaha, "Million Dollar Baby 2: The Lara Croftening" and "Premium Rush Expanded Universe" bits were very crafty crofty. This and EWW the "Deep Blue Sea" were very enjoyable. I should check the batter of my old camcorder. It's been seven years now, haha.
The reason it took longer for the disease to spread in Laura's father is because he put a tourniquet on. I'm not sure if it would really work that way, but that's the explanation for it.
I didn't see this because it seemed to just disappear after it came out. And it did. I lile the actress but if your going to reboot a movie series it has to be good. Actors/actresses alone can't carry the entire movie. I doubt this will get a sequel but if it does, they really need to Rated R it, get some make sense writing and actions scenes that are less cgi and more stunt based. This standard reboot and recycle crap just aint gunnah cut it. No sir.
what would you do in this movie for it to be R Rated apart from more gruesome traps or swearing which I don't think are needed at all? Her character is not a cold blooded killer to murder vigorously, it's Tomb Raider not 50 Shades of Gray to have her naked or having sex. If you want to see gore, there are plentiful movies providing it. The writing and action is a different story though and I agree
Божидар Димитров Not nudity really or extreme violence by the main character, just a colorful backdrop and sometimes, to really bring out the terrible horror of ancient traps, you need to see a bit of gruesomeness. Not focus on it for more than a few seconds but enough to get the point across. Also, it lets you have varying degrees of evil. Hard to make a bad guy seem bad if he politely kills someone or has a clean mouth. R rating would give more freedome to make certain characters more particularly unsavory. But, this is a video game character so to keep the kids they will always go for the National Treasure tomb raider. I wouldn't want to see the main character nude. That would ruin it. I like seeing the character more as a bad ass strong women than a sexual object. I mean unless it was real life and she was into me... No? Not going to happen ever? :(
Chris B I see your point but I suppose they'd not do it because it won't bring much to the table compared to what they'd have to sacrifice. It would seriously limit the amount of audience and revenue just for accounting to a more specific darker taste.
Божидар Димитров Perhaps, but it worked for Logan. I would like to see a female bad ass but not the stupid typical hollywood kind. So tired of the 110lb girl hitting and throwing a 200lb around or doing the goto leg scissor take down. They need to compensate for body mass missmatch with more clever fighting. Something a tad more believable. And yes, cut out the Catness Bow and Arrow thing. Give her some brass knuckles. Lol. Cheers.
Chris B LOL, I misread it as "a female ass" as "bad" and "ass" were on two different lines, and I was like "wtf is he talking about". True though, some more martial arts approach would make it more believable. But let's be honest, if realness was that important, movies wouldn't exist, as they very often rely on stupid and illogical decisions by the characters which wouldn't happen IRL. Or just give her the akimbo guns, and make actually raiding some tombs as the main idea of the films. I dunno, I rarely go to the cinema as I see it as a way to go out with friends rather than going for the film itself, but originality definitely seems to be dying off for the purpose of quick cash grabs and unless the film is literal trash it works sadly
I actually liked this movie and how she doesn't survive because of her combat skills but rather quick thinking and being reckless to a point of craziness.
My baby girl is in this movie - She was only 4.5 months old - Didn't even go for a casting, they took one look at her. The casting director said, "We have FINALLY found baby Lara!". I looked at my wife and was like, "That's COOL!" She is in the picture frame on the left, on the desk when Alicia is in her Dads den look at the camcorder. Sitting with Dominic West in the photo - It was a really fun experience to be on the set and stuff. A very nice man, Mr. West is! They only used this one shot, there were many more though. I had Alicia and her entourage of 8 walk past me in her outfit while they were shooting the end cave scene, which was pretty cool! :)
Can't Think Of A Name again if you played the game you would understand she's not the tomb raider yet this is her 1st adventure so to speak the game is set on that island you need the back story setting it up 2nd game there is more I imagine if they make a sequel it will dive straight into it
You missed a glaring one. Pass light through a yellow filter and a blue filter and you get no light. Yellow and blue 'paints' make green, but that isn't how filters work.
While I watched this movie I heard you CinemaSins in my head!! I said the same thing about the opening, boat, plane and when Lara is trying to escape the tomb scene... like REALLY?!
You know what would be great ? A short series of the past of the Yamatai. Two storylines : One in the past following the ambassador and the priestess Hoshi and how they discover the truth about Himiko's immortality. The other would the japanese expedition with a japanese soldier (let's call him Keiji) and a GI (let's call him Mitchell) pov. Would be great to see the Yamatai in it's prime, and in ruin. Same for japanese facility. What do you think ?
7:21 Good point, in fact so good that the sentence "Get ready" makes no sense when the person you're talking to doesn't know "to what". Also, "why would they want anyone to find this, even if they made it Dark souls hard" XD

And that was far more interesting then this movie was, the new Tomb Raider games are great.

Also,, Himiko is a spirit, not a fucking virus, God damn it

The biggest thing I didn't like about this was taking out the supernatural element and replacing it with what was essentially the zombie virus.
I totally agree. Supernatural elements have been a big part of the series. It's just not the same without it.
AlphaXTitania agree treasure and supernatural
It's the T-Virus from Resident Evil. Lara vs Resident Evil: Death of both franchises.
And this funny thing about the virus is that Uncharted did it first with El Dorado being pretty much a sealed coffin with a corpse carrying some kind of virus even if they dont turn into zombies.
drakron they were pretty much zombies.
The game is way way better
YES..FINALLY SOMEONE
I know right I doubt the people who made this even played the games, no doubt they just saw another opportunity to make yet another "Empowered female hero"
IKR she more of a badass in the video game
The game is infinitely better.... in both lore and action
And yet the game was such a weak and boring installment compared to a classic like TR4: The last Revelation......
I was annoyed at how little actual tomb raiding there was. Do they understand the title of their own movie?
The game itself which this film was based on also had very little tombs. I say for a film adaptation, it is far too accurate.
The sequel is going to be more tomb raider maybe..
circleofrage wtf is wrong with you?
@@treasurebadmus Only reason I played the games, tbh. Don't blame me for being a guy; blame the creators for taking advantage of the fact that I'm a guy.
Terminal 823 the latest games were all the story how she became the tomb raider so of course she doesn’t raid so many tombs at the beginning
the...villain does have a motivation...he monologues about it when we first meet him... he doesn't get to see his family again until he gets this bio weapon for trinity.
They just can't seem to get video game movies right. Very few have been good.
I only liked Resident Evil & Mortal Kombat

SupaPixelGirl like WreckIt Ralph?
SupaPixelGirl So true
Flaky Porcupine 1472 that doesn’t count
Is anyone going to say it? They Scooby doo'ed Tomb Raider... lol.
Whole premise of TR is
1.Something appears as supernatural
2.Lara is skeptical & overcomes huge adversities and tries to find the truth
3.Lara finds the truth which is supernatural and overcomes evil.
But in Scooby doo
1.Something appears as supernatural
2.The gang investigates
3.Bad guy is making fools out of everyone and the whole situation if completely logical and non supernatural.
Zombie island
The reluctant werewolf
Boo brothers
Alien invaders
The witches ghost
The goblin king
... the list goes on.
The 13 ghosts of Scooby-doo series also has real ghosts.
or Goonyfied it.....
I can’t suspend the disbelief.
winnie Bishh They pretty much did...
hum...I'm gonna bury myself deep in this mountain, then fill the way in with a lot of deadly traps....but let's make sure all of those traps are avoidable in some way, wouldn't want too many people dying.
Surprised she isn't a teacher at the Prometheus school of running away from things
This movie came out already?
Patrick Star 😂😂😂😂😂....dont worry yu obviously didn't miss much
Yes it did. It was much better than reviews would make you believe. So if you like the series go watch it
I'm just surprised it wasn't straight to DVD tbh...
Go buy or rent the dvd, you won't regret it!!
i mean watching this video the movie doesn't seem all that great.
13:11 no sin for the fact she jumped and risked her life to land on the ladder to stop to bad guy from escaping when she could've just kicked the ladder from behind killing him.. she literally kicks the ladder away moments later so what difference does it make?
She wasn't planning to die at the point.
@@bouch1313 She also could have tried throwing things at him or jiggling it.
"How do you know it's not an ancient glory hole?"
Best. Line. Ever!
Krokodilpudding I agreed 100%
They went for the easy route. To make the movie similiarly to the game they would have to reflect the game's constant atmosphere of danger, the whole vibe of the island that was so creepy etc. instead they made another boring action flick that everyone will forget in a day after watching it.
@UnicornInTheUniverse have to agree with the comment your replying to, actually... The game had a WAY better story and was far from "Just a girl raiding tombs and battling bad people". The game's story was actually much, much better.
Well the original tomb raider never started like that that.
If he has a map to a treasure that nobody else has thanks to his speck, then why does he need to worry about getting there first? It's only a race if other people know about it.
Add a sin for virulent pathogen not being deadly to those breathing the dust stirred up by the tomb raiders.
Pat McBride add another 1k sins, for lara jumping god jumps, but being soft on other shit like fighting the robbers, retarded movie
Camera dead after 7 years? Especialy a sony, If I leave my battery in mine it's dead after a couple hours.
"Calm your tittles" - absolute genius
You completely missed Richard tying his arm off to stop the disease spread. Hence why he gets a bit more time. I mean you could sin that this worked but you missed it, so one sin for you.
you are right by the time the he ties of the arm his arm would already be infected but hey its a movie screw science
i dont get why lara didnt at least chop off her dads arm to see if the virus would stop spreading instead of just accepting her dad dying
That's exactly what I thought she would do with the pickaxe. At least try it.
A recap of Uncharted is pretty much what the crappy reboot games are though.
This movie succeeded in making the first Tomb Raider seem like the ideal motion picture.
When The National Treasure series with Nicholas Cage does it better than any movie based on the original IP, you know you're doing it wrong.
Avengers Infinity War and Justice League next please
That will be a great idea also Jordan
I've been waiting so long for EWW Justice League!!

CinemaSins has forever changed the way I look at anyone, myself included, eating apples.

The Lara in game is much better and irreplaceable
The writing and acting was better in the game...
Right? I played Rise of the Tomb Raider and oh my god was I enjoying her character.
And the trend of awful video game movie adaptations continues...

Joshua Bryant Completely agree. Personally, I didn't like the fact that her father was alive, but I still enjoyed it.

Dark Souls reference? _REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE_

Wait... so they took the plot of the 2013 reboot but changed it to make it worse?!
I like how they confused the fantastical element of Himiko with El Dorado from Uncharted
John Stassi hey, most video game movies at least have the decency of not borrowing too much from the plot of the game it’s based on while leaving out most of the stuff that made it great.
John Stassi the Resident Evil movies are good fun. Not necessarily quality cinema, obviously, but entertaining to watch.
Forrest Games I was telling my family the exact same thing when we watched it
10:26 He deduced that because the spike erupted from the floor at a delay from the pad, indicating that it meant to kill people headed towards the exit.

When you were talking about the treasure always being burried under mountains instead of something more original you actually gave me a better idea for a story I'm doing, thank you narrator 😊
@cinemasins you need to add a few more sins for 12:48 lol
Let me explain -
So dads right hand gets infected and so he ties up his arm trying to contain it to just that arm. Then at 12:48 when he tells lara thats hes done for, he shows her the hand using his other hand. And we all know that the disease is transmitted by touch so essentially hes just infected his left hand too just to show her 😊
The underwater city of Los Angeles killed me.
I was let down by cinemasins when he didn't say 'no.' after he screamed NOOOOOOO. hopefully next time
Hahaha, "Million Dollar Baby 2: The Lara Croftening" and "Premium Rush Expanded Universe" bits were very crafty crofty.
This and EWW the "Deep Blue Sea" were very enjoyable. I should check the batter of my old camcorder. It's been seven years now, haha.
I am so god damn happy you included the Indiana Jones reference at the end. That was the only thing i could think about through that entire scene.
I saw this I’m theaters and thought of everything that could be sinned

She is in the picture frame on the left, on the desk when Alicia is in her Dads den look at the camcorder.

good film better than Angelina joile trash it was always going to be a tough job condensing a 40 hour game into a 2 hour film
Can't Think Of A Name again if you played the game you would understand she's not the tomb raider yet this is her 1st adventure so to speak the game is set on that island you need the back story setting it up 2nd game there is more I imagine if they make a sequel it will dive straight into it
