Ho ascoltato molte versioni dì questo grandioso oratorio vivaldiano e questa è in assoluto una delle migliori. Orchestra, solisti, coro e direzione impeccabili.

Come non essere d'accordo. Dopo la mitica incisione di Vittorio Negri, riecco la sontuosa tromba in "Plena nectare" che in qualità di clarino sostituisce lo chalumeau preferito in altre esecuzioni. Accattivante la versione di "Noli o cara te adorantis". Ottima l'esecuzione di tutti i recitativi. Non mi è chiarissima la soluzione sull'aria della pace di Giuditta. Dovrebbe esserci un consort di "viole all'inglese", invece mi pare siano stati usati due violini ed una viola. O forse sbaglio, il consort è previsto nell'aria "In somno profundo", dove però vedo due violini, due viole da gamba e basso continuo.

E' una grande soddisfazione sapere che in Italia sappiamo e possiamo fare cose tanto belle, grazie a chi ha reso possibile tutto questo.
Vous avez raison, seuls les italiens ont le génie de Vivaldi dans le sang. C’est d’ailleurs le cas pour toute la musique baroque. J’aimerais pouvoir assister plus souvent à des concerts baroques en Italie. J’adore Rome où chaque petite rue révèle un trésor architectural dans une harmonie parfaite. Je pense que si les romains n’avaient pas civilisé la Gaule nous serions encore un peuple de sauvages 😵💫. Tant d’artistes italiens ont travaillé en France pour lui donner une partie de son âme ! La dernière fois que j’étais dans un restaurant à Rome, j’ai choisi une assiette de “pâtes à la Romaine”. Il n’y avait rien que des pâtes, un peu verdâtres. Mais quel parfum ! Et quelle explosion en bouche ! Ajouter du parmigiano aurait été un crime contre l’humanité. Tout le génie italien était dans ce simple plat de pâtes. Je me souviens avoir pris beaucoup de temps à savourer ce plat avec un verre de vieux Vesevo Aglianico. Je connaissais déjà ce vin dont j’avais soigneusement noté les références. J’en commande chaque année depuis environ 15 ans avec des amis. Chaque année qui passe donne à ce vin une profondeur et une richesse absolument fabuleuse. Mais je m’égare….Joyeux Noël à tous les italiens. Baci Jean 💕

Some people joke, that talking in latin may summon some ancient deity or a demon, but this one is a god damn 2 hour long incantation, which solely purpose is to make you feel alive and happy for the rest of the day. Who needs magic when we have music like that.

The quality level of this performance is unbelievably high! Even after watching and listening to it dozens of times I have to keep listening. Superbly singing and playing in a magnificent cathedral!

One particular aspect of Vivaldi compositions is the fact he always celebrate life ,how wonderful that magnificent gift is from God.
Though at times sourness can be felt.He come back to the jubilation of all creations of God.
The touch of Vivaldi can be heard in those partition and can be impregnated by.
Life is short but so worthy living for when such melody can accompanied it along the way.
Don't forget people around the world be safe.
Sadly 2/3 of his opera were lost
Vivaldi suffered from a tightness in his chest that made it very difficult for him to even speak without getting dizzy , but he made the most beautiful and wonderful pieces of music in the history of humanity and inspired future composers like Bach which have changed the future of music forever , if there's a lesson to be learned it's to have faith in human abilities.

I will never forget the first time I heard Vivaldi; it blew me away. I had never heard such heavenly music. This concert is great! The guy playing the big base violin just fasdcinates me: his earnestness and concentration on the singer are amazing! What an engaging character!
Giovane cantore nel Coro dell'Accademia Filarmonica Romana ebbi il piacere di partecipare ad una sorta di prima esecuzione/registrazione moderna di quest'opera, all'Angelicum di Milano nel 1962, sotto la direzione di un giovane Alberto Zedda che ne aveva curato anche la revisione. Ne erano interpreti Oralia Dominguez, Irene Companez, Maria Grazia Allegri, Bianca Maria Casoni ed Emilia Cundari. Fu una straordinaria esperienza che ha lasciato in me un vivido ricordo a quasi 60 anni da quella data. Riascolto la Juditha diverse volte all'anno nelle belle edizioni che nel tempo sono seguite a quella prima non più ripubblicata.
Tenho estado a ouvir várias interpretações da Juditha Triumphans e esta é, sem dúvida nenhuma , a melhor entre todas. Vivacidade, subtileza, graciosidade fora de série. Divina! Parabéns Roberto Zarpellon, parabéns à orquestra ,ao coro, cantoras e demais solistas. Sinto-me profundamente agradecida por poder desfrutar de tanta beleza. OBRIGADA!

I think this is one of the most beautiful renditions of classical music I’ve ever heard. Every single individual does a wonderful job. I especially enjoyed Sylvia FRIGATO’S beautiful performance.

This was my first exposure to Juditha Triumphans. The more i listen to other versions, the more i realize this is an incredibly strong and powerful version. Every second is charged with power and vitality, as opposed to polite Baroque trills in other versions. Magnificent vision here!

Bellísima interpretación del más conocido oratorio sacro de Antonio VIvaldi! Las cantantes son de primer nivel y su técnica vocal propia del canto barroco es magnífica. La orquesta con instrumentos del siglo XVIII suena portentosa! La dirección de Roberto Zarpellón es bien atinada y de gran carisma. Bravo!!!

Merci beaucoup ! Très belle musicalité de l'ensemble : musiciens et chanteurs. Le "veni veni me sequere fida" est... brillantissime, d'une beauté ... C'est vraiment le plus bel oratorio de Vivaldi. La mise en scène donnée l'année dernière au Dutch national opera était déjà bouleversante en soi (notamment du fait de la recontextualisation dans une période de guerre au point de rappeler une sombre période de notre histoire européenne) mais là, la seule musicalité est tout aussi remuante. Le da capo du "veni veni" est surprenant mais presqu'évident et la dernière image du clarinettiste montre un instrumentiste au bord de l'émotion; c'est rare.

Dinlemeden geçirdiğim bir gün bile yok muhteşem bir eser, muhteşem bir icra... Tek tek tüm sanatçıları, emeği geçen herkesi kutlarım... Vivaldi ne iyi etmiş de böyle bir eser yaratmış, olağanüstü dehasına tanıklık etme şansı vermiş bize...

Eccellente esecuzione, solisti e musicisti tutti bravissimi , notevole anche il direttore d'orchestra. Persino la regia risulta fluida e piacevole con un equilibrato alternarsi di primi piani e inquadrature complessive.
