I’m so glad to have watched it! I didn’t even do a search! lol I picked up this thread at Joann’s on a whim. Thought it was interesting but did not know how I’d be using. Now I do! Thank you!! 🎉
I love fusible thread. I recently started using it in my serger looper when I attach binding to projects. After I fuse in place I then stitch the binding on from top side and have not missed the binding one time since I started this method. I definitely need to remember to try this with a hem.
Thanks for sharing your experience with fusible thread! It's always great to hear about new techniques that make our sewing projects easier and more efficient.
Your are amazing and I love your energy. I'm wondering how well the invisible thread hem will work on other types of fabrics. I'll have to try it out. Thanks so much for sharing! BTW- love your Iron!
Wow, this is the first time I'm hearing about this, thank you 😊

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you found it clever.
I’ve had some of this in my stash for 20 years, but never have used it. I’ll have to remember it the next time I need to hem something!
Time to bust it out & put it to use :)

@@SewAnastasia I'm thinking of hemming for now, but you never know what you'll end up using this for. So many applications!

Thank you :) I would try samples of fabric from your stash & see what it works best on.
It’s really nice you can’t catch your toe in the hem and rip it off like you can with a normal blind hem
Totally!
I knew you'd love fusible thread. Isn't it terrific?
It’s really fun to try new techniques:)
How does it last after running the garment through the washing machine cycle a good few times?
It really depends on the fabric and this is a hack for a quick fix. Use real hemming techniques for hems that last.
👗👏🏻🧵
Thank you for watching.
This is the second easiest way to hem. Easiest way is to get someone else to do it!
Haha, I totally agree! If only we could have personal hemming fairies to do all our sewing for us!
