Flair you need alpacas they are the 1 animal that will protect your animals especially if you raise them from very young
Put the chicken coop and electric fence inside the big enclosure since there is so much room. Then you have two layers of fence and the big animals would protect from raccoons. Like so he sees it.

Get a shamo rooster, them things protect everything, i had loads over the years an all of them used to try and attack are dog to protect the hens, really tame to humans but be careful of the spurs coz they aint nice 😁👍🏻 shamo, aseel, or taiwan, all fighting birds but really good protectors and there crow isnt very loud either specially the shamo its like a muted crow 👍🏻

Raccoons will kill turkeys. Happened to all my grandpas turkeys and chickens. A caged in pen is the only answer. So nothing and come in from above. Also dig the fence about a foot under ground and face it outwards away from the pen because they will walk to the fence and dig straight down. A hot wire around it helps and make sure the pen isn’t by trees because they will jump on top of the pen and chew their way in!

Ruby Guest I’ve helped with the pen. Have had no issues since. He’s raised all types of birds through out the years. He’s had rabbits in the same pen as well, except they will dig burrows. But as for birds, it works excellent!

You should buy baby mallards or wood ducks or whatever type of ducks you want to see in your farm and raise them from chicks. You can buy them from TSC or online. LIKE SO FLAIR CAN SEE.

when I ran out of chicken wire to construct the cage to protect my woodlot edge garden from varmints and deer, I bought deer netting to finish the roof and two sides. I secured them at the ground level by burying the netting and securing the sides between 2 by fours. It worked. One day I saw where a deer had tried to knock the deer netting down by leaning into it, but it held. Deer netting is nearly invisible to animals but very strong. Just a thought. Also pieces of it make great DIY fishing nets.

You need to build a large bird coop that the birds can be locked into at night otherwise this is continue to happen. as much as you hunt and trap the smell of the farm specially in summer will constantly attract new predators into the area
