As a Polish-American, I can never thank Sabaton enough for making Poland awesome again.

I suspect Poland was awesome before Sabaton came along. But I know what you mean. Thanks for watching and commenting.

For 40:1, they are playing on two stages. On one stage, the singer, two current guitarists, current drummer, and backing choir. On the other stage, current bassist and two former guitarists, former drummer, and former keyboardist.

They did explain that, but I couldn't really tell because I don't have the different players memorized. I appreciate this comment very much Jody.

The former members don't even look like they were ever a part of the band. They just don't have that "Sabaton" look. Know what I mean? If I'm not mistaken those former members went on to form the band "Civil War" whose first three albums were titled from the Civil War novel Trilogy that were made into movies. "Killer Angels" which was made into the movie Gettysburg (1993), then "Gods & Generals" for the film of the same name in 2003, and finally "The Last Full Measure" a high unfortunately was never made into a film. Their 4th album is called "Invaders" which focuses more on Vikings and other European colonizers, but there is at least one Civil War song on the album, "Andersonville" the notorious Confederate POW prison.

Tina Guo also plays on their song and video Steel Commanders and during the credits of their 1916 video.

What a great channel. My favourite song of Sabaton is Attero Dominatus. It's about a battle of Berlin, where my grandpa took part in 1945 as an artilleryman. So, while listening to it, I really enjoy the fact that great music corresponds with history of my family. It may not be so harmonic in musicial way like newer songs, but i still really love it. Also i can recommend live perfomance of En Livstid I Krig song, very emotional song.

Thank you Andrey. When I get around to Sabaton again, I'll likely do that video. Won't be soon though. I'm going to give it some time.

Thanks for playing a piece of this special evening at Wacken. It must have been epic both for the band and the audience.
And Tina Guo with Sabaton is magic. Her outro on their video of 1916, their cover of Motörhead is sombre and magic
That's a video which needs to.be seen by everyone.

If you want your soul to die, try SABATON HISTORY - The price of a mile (the battle for Passchandaele...it's pure horror) / The battle of the Somme / Fields of Verdun!

I've watched the history channel and reacted, but never to that song. Thanks for the recommendation. Love your handle BTW.

My journey with music is different than what I think most people have experienced. I started over fifty years ago with psychedelic rock (my first album was In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida) progressing to prog rock (Styx and Rush primarily) then a decade of disgust with crud music that was all you could hear in America. Around 20 years ago my son introduced me to metal (Manowar, Hammerfall, Visigoth, Warlord) which I have been exploring ever since. I can tell you for me, old music is mundane and boring, the newer metal bands like Sabaton, Epica, Kamelot, Blind Guardian, Crom, Leaves Eyes are 1000% better. great reaction, keep rocking

We're in a minority if we still listen to new music. Thanks for the comment and watching.

He's a special man for sure. He said in a radio interview that the raft in front of his blew up into a million pieces.
