First of all, Stardew Valley is one of my favorite games. I haven't played on a while though and just found out thanks to this video about all these updates 😱 now I have to play again to get all the new stuff!❤
I started getting into Kynseed like a week ago by pure coincidence of having nothing better to do and now I can say I love it! I bought the game on Steam a long time ago, back when it just came out before the Big Update, and it was too overwhelming for me and I had too much trouble finding anything or knowing what to do. Gameplay it's not as intuitive as Stardew's, the maps are huge and it's so easy to get lost. Finding out about Thatterway mechanic saved me (little sparkly creatures that lead you to your destination when you press F1).
I have to say, between these two games there's a lot of differences. Mainly you forgot to mention Kynseed's main way of making money as an adult is by buying and owning shops, which is a cool mechanic. You can hire workers, set their wages and their work hours, manage the inventory and order more stock and you get perks as these shops level up.
Also, pets/animals! In Stardew you can only have either a dog or a cat and they don't do much other than exist, meanwhile on Kynseed you can have up to 3 dogs and 3 cats, and dogs are really useful since they dig little spots where you can find hidden objects using a shovel. You also can ride the pigs and the sheep. The chicken give you eggs and the cow gives you milk, but there's no much you can do with it besides using it for cooking recepies, selling for a few coins or giving them as gifts, meanwhile on Stardew Valley you can turn the eggs into mayonneise and the milk into cheese to then sell it for better prices. In SV you can also get different types of chickens (white chicken, brown chicken, void chicken, blue chicken and golden chicken), ducks, sheep, goats, rabbits, dinosaurs and ostrich, all of which give you different kinds of goods you can then turn into artisan goods such as mayonnaise, cheese, oil, etc.
Another big difference: NPCs. NPCs have a much more compelling storyline on Stardew, and the cutscenes for the romantic storyline are done much better, and it's also much harder to gain hearts with the townspeople since you can only give each person 2 gifts per week and you have to keep track of their birthdays using the calendar to get the most amount of hearts. On Kynseed, there's no restriction for giftgiving, if it's one of their liked gifts they get a good amount of friendship up (especially if you have the friendship ring), but there are so many NPCs and it's hard to keep track of their birthdays since they don't appear on your calendary (so far, I only know of one NPC's birthday by pure coincidence bc I happened to give him something on his birthday).
NPCs on Stardew Valley follow a rigid schedule and often you can find them standing around doing nothing, NPCs on Kynseed are often walking around the main village, going in and out of stores and buying things, which makes the town feel more alive in a way. Also, Kynseed NPCs can marry each other, can have babies, they can age and they can die! In Stardew you can play on the farm for 100 years and everything will stay the same, the characters don't age, and if you have children they stay toddlers forever.
There's a lot more to compare between these two, like combat and mining skills, fishing, building. All in all, they're both fantastic games with lots of content and things to explore❤

The game is full of mini games for each activity . Like 6 different ones for cooking alone. Pie making is fun.
      Alchemy is also unique

Kynseed has surprised me. I guess it's some of the old Fable devs
