I just bought it on Steam a couple of days ago (steam spring sale thank you around $5) It's... Interesting...... And difficult AF Game gives you A VERY BASIC TUTORIAL..... STILL PLAYING THE VERY FIRST PART FOR THE 600TH TIME but I paid for it..... Gotta live with it, lol
You are so right on the tutorial being very basic! If you want a little extra guidance, I did create a tutorial series on this game! th-cam.com/video/50iiY9jUCzQ/w-d-xo.html That's the first video if you are interested ;) It goes for a long way so you can get your bearings.
I have this game on Steam, on my Switch, and now on my ps5. On steam I loved it but my wrist suffered. On switch they don't have all DLCs. I'm loving it on my PS5, but I wish I could have the mobility of my switch. On switch it also tends to bug if you don't save often.
I really appreciate the time, know how and energy it takes into making review videos. My ADHD couldn't finish this review because it was a little dry. I am in no way saying it's a bad review, I'm just mentioning from a Nero-spicy view it's hard to get into. Just in case you are losing people part of the way through the video that might be insight into why. I think you might need a better microphone or a mesh over the mic. It made the voice over sound a bit off. Like it was poofing with your deeper voice, but also making it sound a bit like a robot. I really am not trying to be mean. I want you to succeed. You got this! Keep up the great work! I really appreciate videos on how the games play now vs when they first came out.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I agree--it's not very replayable and the grind can get tedious, but I still think this was a fun one with some flaws ;)
I am with you. They could have shaved at least 30% of off the grind and improved the game a good bit. I basically drank speed potions non-stop once I could afford it haha
Will I be buying Graveyard Keeper in 2024? Absolutely NOT!!! I have owned it for a few years now, why should I buy it again? Of course, my main time sink is Factorio... right now with Pyanodon's mod now that the "Alternative Energy" portion is completed... Py is one of those mods that you can use portions of the entire mod, so Py-lite, Py-medium & Py-Insane difficulty modes... By finding and installing the Py Alternative Energy mod and its needed associated files (it will automatically do it from the game menu when you start up if you go to mods and install the Py Alt Energy mod), you get the full "Insane difficulty" version. Really advise biters either off or on the lowest settings possible if you do not get run over before you can make ammo that will kill them off well as streamers have learned. Expected minimum game time until you research the tech that constitutes "winning the game"... at least a year of playing at least 20 hours a week.
This thing that certain npc's only appear on certain days is irritating as hell. In stardew as well. you walk all the way to someone just to find out they are closed for the day. When you weigh it up, the gimmick don't add to the quality of life aspect. it just irritating full stop.
I don't recall off the top of my head, but here is my complete playthrough of everything in the game! It's in here haha th-cam.com/play/PLLZqXZAwfuGc2pEW5X_ep97AZINZCYqeT.html
This game is a confusing mess, it skips when you're moving, and it's frustrating as hell. It's worth 2.49 but I wouldn't pay 1 cent more. Oh yeah it also takes a tremendous time to load the game, which has to be a bug because it's not even 1 GB
Love this game. Wish they would make another game like this
I would like to see a game based on how the other half lives in the town.
I agree! Not a DLC but a new game that is inspired by this!
That would be interesting! We hear a lot about the town... haha

@@DrIncompetent thanks ill look at it right away!
Loved this game. Played it all summer last year. Look forward to the day when I jump back in and enjoy it all over again 😊
Yes! It's so fun. Replaying it is also amazing haha
3:40 thats not a DLC that is in the base game, there is however a DLC that expands on what they can do
Oh, thank you for clarifying that!
Idk if its changed on console but its only apart of the base game on pc from what I know

Haha, that's how good it is! When you own a game on multiple systems, you know it's good ;D
I played it through on my PS Portal... Was great
Your guide has been great. I enjoy playing it, currently.
Awesome! So glad you are finding it to be useful! This game is so fun haha

Love this game. Or did for a few weeks. I was very invested but it gets old. Is it good? Sure. Is it replayable? Maybe.

Enjoyed your review. I loved the look and feel of the game, but the grind definitely got me.

Haha, I agree! I really enjoyed GYK but it's not too replayable ;D Factorio sure is, though!

I agree--I don't like that mechanic in any game, really.
I really love your videos!
I'm so glad you enjoy them my friend :) Thanks for watching!
ah yes the one game in my steam library i wish i could completely remove and get back the 16 hours I wasted on it, nevermind the money.
