I will say that I believe the music for the world map could be used for an adventure theme where the player ventures out into the wilderness. For a world map, it would probably be something a little more subtle assuming the music switches temporarily to the map, or equally as effective: the music could be muffled in the background when the world map is pulled up. Regardless, it's great music! What method did you use to get the amplified/distorted bass guitar in Fear of God? I want to get that sort of distorted bass for something I want to make, but I don't know what to look for.
hey, thank you so much! to clarify the world map thing, i think a better descriptor for it would have been "overworld theme", that was my intention. i'd seen the two terms used interchangeably, so i didn't think much of it, but i'll keep it in mind next time. as for the bass guitar in fear of god, i don't think it was anything particularly special? i probably just cycled through different amp patches in guitar rig 6 until i found something that i thought worked lol
