Good advice. I don’t like paper bag pants at all. They make my waist look wider when I want them to look slimmer. I’m happy flare leg pants are back

I'm also petite 5'2''. I find well-tailored tapered pants that fit around the waist and hip such as those from Theory are very flattering with ankle boots. They have such a slimming and elongating effect.
Great video! I never wear pleated pants or skirts because I have fuller hips!! Heels is key to look taller, but many of us prefer flats or small heeled shoes!

I'm 4'11 and all this time I assumed only skinny pants was the only style that would be flattering until I saw this video! I stayed away from some of the pant styles you mentioned but you enlightened me. Also, I don't know why they think if you're petite that you also have a tiny waist. We can be short and pudgy also.. LOL! It's just trying to find the right fit in all areas. You have great tips!

I have the challenge of being 50/50 on torso to legs length, short waisted, and large breasted, on top of being only 5ft, so pants get pretty careful scrutiny in the dressing room before I buy. Since I know what is not going to work, it's made online shopping for pants easier. A tip if you shop online, and there's no petite length, is to get regular length in ankle pants which may have a hem length closer to your normal petite length
New subscriber. I’ve been binge watching your videos. Great video. I’m 5’ tall, 108#, with short torso and short big legs, hourglass body type. Can you address in a video what clothes look good on a body like mine? My problem is short, meaty legs. I love the rose color top on you.

I also purchased super pointy toe boots and it changed the game for me last year lol I love how that combo looks on me! This year I did purchase some adorable chunky boots though. Can you please offer suggestions on how to many them look good if you’re really short?

Great tips, I notice some of the pants your wearing are high & low waist. If shopping for pants you need to try them out. That's why it recommend you shop in Boutique stores where you can get one on help. This has been my experience

I'm a petite plus - so there are a few more issues to consider. I hope most of these tips will work for me too. At least I know that my choice of blue jeans is correct - boot cut! Yea! Got that right! :-)

I'm only 5' 1" so have so much problem with length of pant length.
I am older, over 55 and cannot wear high heels anymore. Just too uncomfortable for me and I have to walk several blocks to bus stops.
Just can't wear high heels like you are wearing.
I can wear low wedgy shoes (not over 2 inches at the most.)
What about when you sit down? The pants will look good standing but when we what's said the bottom of the pants would rise up to our knees! How can we make this work.

Would the fitting ankle pants be advisable if one is petite but apple shaped body?
These are the rules I follow. The worst thing to wear are pants that are too baggy. Overwhelming. Love ankle, bootcut, and wide leg .

🤗Being an hourglass, I adore a cinched waist in a trouser. Sadly, you're 💯% right about voluptuous gals skipping the paperbag pant🤣. Although your suggestion to replace the coordinating sash with a similar colored belt is brilliant!
😉Do like tapered & wide cut legs, but as you said they can be tricky unless you're willing to wear 👢heels👠 of some sort. Absolutely hate the silhouette of those slim fitting bell bottoms that flare below knee🤮.

Hi, my english is not very good sorry😔 I can’t wear high heels anymore 😏 what should do?
My problem is that I can't find those pants where I live, they are always longer than my legs 😢😢 and I'm scared to buy them online in case they don't suit me at all in the end.
Also when i find something it turns out it's expensive as hell and the materials are clearly cheap or uncomfortable
And heels are flats. I cannot wear heels. Flats don't work too well either with my foot shape :-( I can only wear tennis shoes. What am I supposed to do?
May you make a model with different body measurment.. These petite modelling not all fitted to slender curvy more-weighy body mass
