Can you elaborate more on footwork, the resting position/guard, and the final positions at strike. I'm particularly confused my the short stab. Where does the power for the short strike come from?
Hey I got them plus i have added turning to my drills! Turn block and slash it feels pretty good. Love thge spear because I dont beat myself up as much as my opponent!! : )
This spear drill where you switch hand positions is different than one of your other drills where you go underhand right foot then overland left foot while mantaining same hand position. This is a little confusing to me.

Yup. Different drills sometimes teach different movements.
