I find it amazing that your perfect sketch was completed in under 30 mins with a ball point pen and a free hand approach. You're crazy fast and accurate. Keep up the good work!
skipped a lot of vids until i came across this. I like the simplicity of the porsche and your style. would rather watch this than the camaro/lamborghini everyone's drawing.
My friends. Don't get too hung up on the pen. Focus on the basics and fundamentals of drawing. It doesn't matter what drawing utensil you use or the brand of pen. It's all subjective as u develop your personal style. As your skill and confidence grows, you'll be able to use any tool. You only need to focus on the kind of pencil, pen, markers, etc.. When u want to create an illustration . If you are just ideating....then just use what u are comfortable with. This video is about the "construction" of the drawing. Cheers
hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to learn about how to draw fantastic cars pdf try Skyarza Car Sketching Star (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my colleague got excellent success with it.
Hi. Your videos have always been very helpful. But this one in particular has completely changed the way I look at cars, the perspective, angle etc. Thanks so much :)
thank you sir, its really amazing to draw car in pen and now my drawings are becoming nice by following your basic steps my drawing are getting better ..And once again thank you so much.
watched at 1.5 speed. at 2:50 and forth I can't help but feel like watching a ticking time bomb mission. the performance given by your voice and audio at 1.5 speed is something I had to comment haha
I've been drawing in pencil all my life, but I've somehow started to draw with Bic pens because I didn't have anything else at the time in school. It's amazing what you can do with such a cheaply made pen. Then again, it doesn't matter the tool, it's the artist that matters...

You forgot to draw the dashboard, steering wheel, windshield rear view mirror, seats, people with a smartphone & coffee and antenna. I'll let you off the hook this time. Awesome foundation! Bravo!
+Daniel Del Core hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to discover car perspective pencil drawing made easy try Skyarza Car Sketching Star (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend got great results with it.
G'day Arvind, Even though 90% of my artwork is in pencil, it's useful to see how others work and the troubles they encounter with their choice of medium. I take a little bit of knowledge away from most of your clips. Always appreciate your work. Cheers
you're way more patient than I am I also use BIC pencils and pens there the best! awesome car I'm almost there of how much better you are! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays even though it is over but have a great new year!
I really enjoy your sketches, I'd like to draw like this, but it's really hard because I'm just a beginner and Drawing with circles in Perspective is the hardest thing I guess But it really helps me and motivate, Thanks for that and Amazing car by the way :)
l am a Chinese student(my English dont very well,lm not good student)hahaha l just want say thanks ;l will try my best draw the car 。this is my first time try to draw a car
At 8:40 or so I've realised that the car actually looks like something Batman had once. Just try putting the ellipse of the further front wheel in the plane with the headlamps, so it looks like it's between the them
Monika C. Hi~! I am a product designer and sketcher . If you interested in product sketch, plz come to my channel.^^ You can see my sketch demo. It’ll be useful I think. Have a nice day. :-)
I suck at drawing cars! How do I get better? I am trying to practice as it supposedly makes perfect and I have got better.... A little. Just gimme a few tips please.
Pretty impressive.Drawing or sketching with an ink pen is like doing math with an ink pen, you better be sure of where you're going. I have one question. As you 'figure skate' all over the vehicle every now and then here and there I saw you make, what appeared to me were, anchor points. You swoop an arc and make a hard, dark dot. Cars are machines. Machines require math and while this is a quick sketch your math 'dots' don't appear to have an invisible shape, or ratio or reference point. But they do appear to be necessary. What is the reason(s) for the hard dots? Like at the base of the 'A' pillar. Is that some kind of fractal geometry, fibonacci crosses the eighth dimension, what are they for?
They are reference points to project the construction line into perspective. So at the base of the windshield, I will need a perspective line to identify the point on the opposite side so each segment of the car drawn, remains in perspective. Some dots are just a product of line weight and a force of habit after drawing for so many years. Thanks a lot for the input and discussion.
Any pen or pencil works fine! As you get more experience, you'll grow to prefer certain characteristics of specific brand but all can get the job done.
i can draw pretty good, if i draw slow :( but i love the look of my quick lines better, but unfortunately my line quality sucks, because its hard to make the gaps or spaces between the other line perfect when drawing fast. so i think im going to try my luck with photoshop, sense i can just keep deleting the lines until i draw one i like. i wish i had the line quality or control of a master pinstriper, like my idol chip foose, but i dont, and no matter how much i practice, im only going to get so good. so photoshop here i come :(
+youreallbrainwashed Don't convince yourself out of it so quickly! You can always migrate to photoshop but enjoy the process of learning by hand. You'll be grateful that you did. It just practice. Keep practicing and you'll find your stride! Peace
