i'm a car design student and honestly following your tips really helps, doesn't mean it makes it really a piece of cake but getting a good result it gets less time now than before
Gosh bro....you make my passion alive.....i have a dream of becoming a car designer.....unfortunately work as an engineer in an oil and gas industry.....because of this channel I bought my 80 pcs sketch marker damn.....thanks bro
Dusty McKinney try to fill 1 or 2 papers with hand drawn circles. Make like 1000 of them quickly. After doing so, Do like an a5 size paper (1side) fill it with cirkels each time before you draw a car. That helps me! Works also with straight lines
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out how to draw cars and trucks try DrawCars.club ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my neighbor got cool results with it.
I'm making a portfolio for a design institute, and your ellipse technique simply made perspective easier. I used to struggle with the wheel axle line technique. Thank you for the tip !
I've been drawing cars for as long as I can remember. Used to draw them all the time during some of the boring classes. 3D modeled a few too. I have to say that the way you seem to make just the right lines emerge is truly amazing. You always seem to get the right angle and curvature in very few strokes. To me that's the hardest part when it comes to sketching.
This earned a subscription from me. Very helpful and you didn't speed through it, you explained everything very well and it was easy to follow. Much respect 👍
It's extremely impressive how you can sort of just place seemingly random lines down on paper and then get it to look like a recognizable (and good-looking) object. Thank you so much for making this, I'm excited to start messing around with my own car designs! Great tips.
Ayaan Mathur he chose TH-cam because he isn’t at the talent level of an actual designer at an OEM. There are guys in my junior level class that are better than him and they’re still not even good enough for industry level work.
Your love for cars is easy visible to me. I understand your extreme love for cars and car designs. And I really appreciate it. Bcus I'm also a carslover like you.😘😍
EASIEST way to sketch a car in ANY perspective in less than 5 minutes (IF YOU HAVE SKILL, IMAGINATION AND HAND-EYE COORDINATION WAY ABOVE AVERAGE) nice tutorial tho
Good job, thanks for the amazing videos. I would like to design cars as a dream job, I have being sketching/ drawing since i was little. i have a long way to go only in grade 10. I love you're videos, simple and straight forward with amazing detail. you explain things very well. Keep up the good work. I am sure everyone that watches your videos learns something new. Thank you
I really don't know anything about cars, I'm just a general artist - but it's always been REALLY hard for me to proportion vehicles because they're not similar at all to other types of things I draw. This video helped a lot with kickstarting that lol. Thanks for the video.
I was too suffering from perspective sketches. I learned few skills from utube channel shoorayner, who taught to add a vanishing point i.e. elicpse(oval used in above video). I done alot of sketches as well as portraits. But have made few cars sketches free hand and using grid help. I also love auto designing, as my hand is very set in sketches/drawing. Art is all about imaginations. To be honest, whenever I sketch cars, I do add some background. Your videos is very inspirational for those pursuing auto design( I am too will be doing auto design as my career) I am glad that I visited ur channel. Thnx for uploading such good videos with simple explanations, which is understandable easily.....thank you.
I am a sneaker designer and all my inspirations comes from cars, though my first dream was to become a car designer...your vids are inspiring me thinking again whether I should switch🤪
An awesome advice and i will like and subscribe for sure,i was doing sketch cars 7 years ago but i quit because of my work ,but seeing this video i will start again awesome tips here ✌👏
extremely useful video, I found it helped me instantly when drawing cars for the first time, its always something i have put off doing because i never really knew how to go about it!
lol for some reason putting in an ellipse envelope for the body and the two ellipse envelops for the wheels really helps me visualize the car well enough to draw it in at least decent proportion. Thanks for the tip.

Ayy nice! I'll be starting school this fall in Transportation design
Airspaceuser get as much sleep as you can, you won’t be sleeping much in school-coming from a car design student.
@@danielvisintainer3352 Lol I second this. Having gone to Transportation Design School myself, this is 100% correct
My brain: hey this seems pretty easy!

My only problem is getting the almost perfect circles.

Try to hold the pencil less firmly
Try to do it with one quick swift motion. If you still cant do it quite right, then do as the Jor Cap says and you’ll get there
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out how to draw cars and trucks try DrawCars.club ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my neighbor got cool results with it.
i just take the cap from a ice tea bottle and draw the tires 😄

I'm an industrial designer, this helps a lot as I'm getting into making and selling custom diffusers and splitters now.
These drawings look like the concepts manufacturers put out before the production version winds up looking like a Buick.
