Thank you so much for your effort testing several solutions. This video help me a lot in a Nissan Navara/NP300. Also, had to put a couple of zip tyres to hold the springs, so they don’t squeak. Greetings from Chile.
Have the same problem just today, ready with WD 40 watched the video. Thanks a lot, I will do it by grease application as you did. Thanks for sharing your experience..Have a good and smooth drive.
In my case the squeaks disappeared. When I was ready to apply a special grease I had to drive for 15 minutes and it was gone. Any more after 2 days 😂😂😂.
I used wd40 many times on my yaris clutch pedal and also used copper grease so it returned im gonna try multi puropse grease now as its loud creak and iv had enough after months cheers for video
Can you do damage to the gearbox r clutch I've been doing the same wd40 keeps coming bk after few days was driving today and found was in frist gear going into second nd the stick was bit stuck trying to get out of frist into second mad feeling can you do any damage Putin wd40 on the shaft
This shaft just connects the pedal to the master cylinder. The master cylinder contains oil, so adding more oil can't damage it. It was the grease that fixed the noise. It's still working noise free. If you are having problems changing gear then maybe check the slave cylinder?
I got a new car , and it’s been almost 8 months and today i heard a voice while pressing down my clutch pedal but not while it is released. Do you think it’s serious or just Greece will help?
so good to know and save me 1600€ of changing the whole coupling system -> also my mechanics said, keep using it until you press the clutch and stays pressed :D then bring it so we change it all and depress your clutch system. Ironic´.
my 09 5mt civic is weird lol I got this exact same sound during a drive tonight that lasted 30 mins then I parked for 10 mins to send texts and the noise disappeared.
@@glchow I always thought the noise was coming from that spring…, I’ll be getting some multi purpose grease this weekend. Already sprayed some Wd- 40 and it worked.
I have the same sound in my Opel Insignia brand car, I lubricated it in every way but it does not go away. It's getting on my nerves now I'm thinking of changing the entire pedal box.
I’m not familiar with that particular issue. It could be a bad weld on the pedal box? If that was the case if the brake pedal was part of box it also should make a noise?
Massive thanks! Mine was squeaking like an old door and it was driving me nuts. Had to spray it on the internal areas just below the pedal
Your welcome. I know how frustrating a noise can be. Mine is still silky smooth and noise free so it was a good fix.
@@glchow how long does it lasts?

@@kareltrcalek1619 Great to know we have another success! you can enjoy driving again!
I used Q20 fluid, I think I should use grease because sound still appear
no one else gna mention a lack of socks and shoes
Apparently not
How about cut the crusty tie nails never mind the creak!😂

If difficult to get the grease where you need it. I used a zip tie to push the grease in.
You read my mind i was thinking zip tie or needle picker to shove in ive found carlube multi purpose grease in b&q for £2.75 70ml. 👍on the way now
Would you recommend multi purpose grease or better some sort of silicone grease in those areas with maybe rubber gaskets?
I used multi purpose grease. It’s suitable if it does come I contact with a rubber gasket or boot.
@@glchow Ah OK, thanks. Didnt know that, some sort of grease will destroy I think.

@@glchow That's brilliant thanks very much for your reply cheer's mate
Wd40 is not a lubricant!
It is a water displacement spray it leaves a sticky residue to prevent water ingress..
It's multi use. It is a oil, a lubricant, rubber preserver, cleaner and water disperser. It says it on the tin multi use product.
I have the same squeaky noise when I depress my clutch. On my VW Mk3.
I would try and grease as per my video. Let me know how you get on?
This was the best video! Thanks for the effort!!!
I’m glad to be able to. I know how annoying noises can be
Thankyou I will try that it is annoying. I will try the grease see if that works,
Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope it works. My fix is still working well.

Yes grease should do it if there is no other issues

If the pedals gets stuck down then it’s time to bleed the clutch slave cylinder with new oil. I plan to do a video on this in the future.
@@glchow already done that :D seen it and change it costs a lot though -> 389€ they have changed the breaking SlaveCy too
Gonna go lube up that shaft been dealing with that noise for far too long
Let me know how you get on? Mine is pleasure to drive

Don’t change the slender just take out pin from the paddle and master slender and put Greece around and put back again they know it will be gone
I even put WD-40 change master slender but still is crazy still coming
Have you tried the slave cylinder?
@@glchow no
That noise is your Clutch Master Cylinder about to RIP.
This video was recorded over a year ago. It’s still silky smooth and silent.
@@glchowGood to know. I have a creaky one as well
I used a silicone spray and helped for maybe 30 miles, after a spirited drive it was back. I will try a multi purpose greaser. Any brand?

I completely disassembled the pedal and oiled it and the problem was solved.
It took me about 3 hours🤣🤣
Its ok with penatrating oil!!!
I used that to diagnose, but it didn’t last so it needed the grease. It’s still noise free!!!!
Grease lithium spray is better???
Nice toes....not 😂😂😂
