Beautiful work. The only observation is to be careful with the miter saw. The piece between the blade and the stop-block has to be secured, whereas the off-cut can float. If the former gets pinched, it can create kickback.
You are correct, it does touch the wall. I will modify the design if I make more. For now it works fine on my wall and I may just add bumpers. Thanks for the question.
I thought of it but I didn’t want to get any finish on the glue surface and I knew that I would be sanding all the pieces flush with each other. Thank you for the question.
Looks amazing! May i ask what are the lenghts of the coat rack?
I will measure it and let you know. I built this a few months ago. Cheers
The rack is 20” x 6”
@@Toms_Woodworking_and_Carpentry Thanks a lot!
Looks good!
Thank you. I made it with offcuts from other projects. Cheers
Interesting.
Thank you 🙏

Great observation! Thank you for the advice!
Hey beautiful woodworking, great for DIY too.
Just one question though. Won't the hook hit the wall and leave marks over time?

Would it have been easier to apply finish to the parts before assembly? Leaving the back unfinished for the glue up.

Is this woodworking ASMR or something?
