Sometimes I'd put the bigs and littles, other times the snowflakes and rarely the fake Simmons. Clever thinking not changing everything at once!

For shocks look into pedders 90/10 competition front struts and gsr rears. Accompanied by sports Ryder coils that thing will hook up hard. They also do the adjustable uppers and panhard have set up heaps of early commos this is the best bolt in combo i found

11:57 I'd love to know what gearbox you have, because those are astronomically tall gears. From memory, a 4L60 (TH700R4 for VN) with a 3.08 sit at roughly what you're sitting at with your 3.9s and with my VP(when I still dailied it), it sat at about 2 grand at 100 and I'm lead to believe that has 3.45s. I've just been having this play around in my head since you made the video. But, I'm glad that you have some actually reasonable gearing now and now that you have your tune, reasonable drivability as well

Changing diff gears will play with the shift points in the auto that’s what making it shift funny, had the same thing happen with my vs with ls1 when I put 4.11 gears in got it tuned and shifted exactly like it should !
Yeah but his was doing it with the 308s too I'd say the box or box ecu is dud ,4l60s are junk lol I'd be going straight to a t400 or 700r4 with full manual shift 👌 Personally if i was going ls I'd go t56 or tr6060 and call it a day.
@@5lcalais1 personally I haven’t had a issue with my 4l60 in my skid car 5k converter was at heathcote smashing tire after tire without any issues, comes down to how you treat them, it has a massive cooler with a fan that absolutely helps, the vn lower and upper control arms are weak as piss, mate of mine had a manual vn ls at heathcote with fairly easy launching off the line bent the arms !

Is it true they really weigh 1.3t? Need 6l80e. Can swap em into old bodies. Just expensive to buy the stand alone controlers so unfortuantlly not on my cards atm.
3.9s made massive difference all u will have to do one day bigger cam and welds look nice but recon get your interceptors widened because just as u ended up getting parts to go back original leave the interceptors just dish em 💪🏻👌🏻

I remember my V6 interceptor brought it straight fm the cops in 1990 had the lowered fe2's in it handled like shit down low. Up high it handled good. Now ive got VX with IRS Much better.

Do yourself a favour and get HP Tuners. Tune your own gear box calibration and also change the speedo from the software. Best money I've spent. It's not going to want to shift at the track at WOT with those gears. From a guy with a LS VNSS and 3.9s.

Did you get 3.89 or 3.91 ratio? The 3.91 is the one you want I believe it’s out of the series 3 r31 they revised the ratio because of the inherent whine in the early models.. also does it have lock up converter still and is the converter lockout switch wired to the brake pedal.. a couple of things to check man! Mad vid as always! My opinion on the welds is a no every cunt in Melbourne has those fuckers with the pro street look 😂
