    What were the cards called you stick the nails to@ end?

    • @briajonae
      @briajonae  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’d bought a pack of cardstock paper, and cut it to the appropriate size!

    So just to be clear, you buffed the nail then directly applied the gel color. No basecoat needed?

    • @briajonae
      @briajonae  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope! I didn’t apply a base but I don’t think it would hurt if you chose to. I just made sure to remove any dust left from buffing.

    Girrrrlllll!!!! I wanna start my business as well and I was trying to find someone tell me what else I can use to get that darn putty off...I was thinking double sided tape and yesss thank you. Lol I wanna do universal sets first before custom. What's the best sizes for small,medium and large ?

    • @briajonae
      @briajonae  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes girl that putty was enough to make me want to throw the whole set away! I highly recommend the tape, mine is still holding me down 💪🏾. The sizes I use are: S (25469), M (15468), and L (04357). Be sure to measure your nails though because I just got a pack and the sizes are waaaay off. Hope that helps! 😘

    So how exactly do we know the sizes number for small medium and large

  • @rebeccaforde6550
    @rebeccaforde6550 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    do you do the orders based off what a customer tells you their nail size is like i’ve seen people include sizing charts on their pages and stuff or how does that work like how do ensure your nails fit yours customers nails

    Why are u doing so many at once? Is it just so in case someone wants a set in the sizes your doing then you already have it made up and can just pack it and send it out instead of waiting for a customer to say what size they want and then u design it and send it out? I'm assuming that just saves on time. The only issue I would think would be u have all these sets in that design and no one buys them so then they just sit there.

    • @briajonae
      @briajonae  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, exactly! All sets are ready to ship to minimize wait time for the customer, and anxiety for me. I hate racing the clock. This was a popular set, the first to sell out 💜 but you are right with there being a risk. I do have a couple of sets that have not sold out as of yet, but fingers crossed they will!

      @@briajonae it is a great idea. But what if they want a different shape or even length? Like Almond or square? I'm just trying to figure out a faster way as well for me. Lol

    • @briajonae
      @briajonae  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kissmypolish that’s something I want to do for my next batch, offer different shapes and lengths. It may be better for you to make to order to avoid having more than you need! I just don’t have the time during the week.

    I still use acrylic paints and have multiple caked up palettes lol. It will always be the best paints for detailing in my opinion. I’m also an artist so I’m just comfortable with acrylics and have a huge stash. Nice vid!

    Do you sell custom sizes or just the standard sizes?

    • @briajonae

      I will do custom sizes, I just haven’t had anyone request them yet. I do have a sizing kit that I will post to my Etsy this week.

    Did you end up making any money? Nice tutorial!

    • @briajonae
      @briajonae  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! And yes, I had 7 sets total. Of those, 3 sold out and I sold a few sets of the others. I still have leftover packaging materials and things of that nature so I’d definitely say there was a profit in regards to what I spent to start up. I know it would have been more had I stayed consistent or did them made to order rather than doing bulk and having sets just sitting.
