One of the positives at this point is those who wear press on the regularly most know their sizes already! Depending on the brand of Tips used! Some will need help figuring out their sizes but there are options for that as well! Personally I make a size chart for my self for all the brands of Tips I’ve used just so I will know the measurements if or when needed! Sizing can be complicated but honestly lots of customers kind their sizes! But it is also a issue that can be figured. Don’t let sizing confusion hold you back! You will figure out what works best for you by simply doing working with a customer on sizes! Try different things until you find what works for you!! I have always struggled, when making a set of 20+ nails, on how to decide which ones to put the design on as I know there will be wastage and I would hate to think that my carefully painted feature nails weren’t on the right sizes for my customer. Your explanation about circling the ones you want to be feature nails was so helpful. Thanx ❤
I put my biz on pause bc the 10 vs 20/24 stresses me out. I am admittedly horrid with math and after watching I think it would be in my best interest to start w 20/24 to at least have peace of mind the customer will have nails that fit. Then for repeat customers offer custom sizes Seems like sticking w same brand tips is also important

Do you order full cover packs of 1800 pcs or 500pcs? How many gel tips is enough to have in stock to diminish anxiety of running out?

I just started following you. Looking at your sizing for set of 10, is the the average person? It seems odd that there wouldn’t be consecutive sizes for index, to ring finger or even a couple of fingers that are the same, middle and ring fingers. That would mean an individual would have to purchase 2 sets.
Yes everyone has different sizes. When selling a set of 10 that’s why a customer will have to measure their nails. If they fit the standard sizes (XS S M L) they can simply pick their size, if they have the same size fingers or need custom sizes then they can also just let you know their measurements for each finger and you can make a custom sized set for them
What to do when customer says you are too expensive i mean I am selling at reasonable prices but then also some clients says your nails are too expensive
If you believe your prices reflect the quality of your nails/ designs and brand then honestly don’t bother about customers who complain, simply say your prices reflect your quality and brand. I’ve seen some really plain nail designs priced at $40-$50 and people still pay for these because they trust the brand and quality so it’s really down to how you market yourself and trust in your brand 😊
I once saw 2 quotes that said 1) “your products aren’t expensive, they’re just not your customers” 2) “their products aren’t too expensive, you just haven’t found a way to comfortably afford it yet”
I say it through clenched teeth because it hurts just thinking about the amount of work for 10 vs 20/24, but it supposed to be 20/28 (up to 6 hours of mental and physical work per set🤢) ,not 20/24 😬 Many people's nails are 4-4, 5-5, or 6-6 for both ring finger and index finger.
people buy one set cause that what they want right then and there that your problem if your make more then you should have the person might not like it

I think one big pro for 10 nails is that you can make them ahead of time and not when someone orders like with the 10 sets since it is custom sizes
