Unit 731: The Forgotten Asian Auschwitz
Under the leadership of Dr. Shiro Isshi, Unit 731 subjected 3,000-250,000 innocent men, women, and children to cruel experiments and medical procedures that were carried out by the brightest medical students and staff that Imperial Japan had to offer.
During World War II, the Japanese Army performed chemical and biological warfare experiments on Chinese, Korean, and Mongolian natives.
The experiments included live weapons testing, germ warfare attacks, forced pregnancy, and vivisections performed without anesthesia.
General of the US Army Douglas MacArthur pardoned the Japanese doctors participating in these war crimes, saying that they were assisting America in biological warfare research.
All senior scientists of Unit 731 were pardoned of all war crimes & repatriated to the USA where they used their knowledge to build the US Bioweapons program.

An art installation in Doha features over 15,000 teddy bears, each representing a Palestinian child killed in Gaza. The exhibit aims to convey the immense scale of loss, as individual stories are often overshadowed by statistics. The teddy bears are placed on grey concrete blocks, symbolising Gaza’s rubble, while red elements represent blood. The installation seeks to remind visitors that these children had names, identities, and a homeland. By personalising each bear, the exhibit aims to humanise the victims and encourage reflection on the human cost of the conflict.

Excerpt from the Singapore Chinese media "Lianhe Zaobao" after the incident
Every year when "9/18" comes around, the Chinese government appeals to the patriotic spirit of the people, and the public media incites the people to "not forget the humiliation". But what does the historical fate between Japan and China have to do with a 10-year-old child?
The child's Chinese mother was said to have cried in front of her blood-stained child. It is not like 1900 now. What is required of the Chinese government and major media is a clear and strong attitude of condemning the violent act of killing a foreign child. Instead of being vague and evasive, they should express condolences to the victim and make it clear that there is no rationality in antisocial violent acts. No matter what the reason, those who commit antisocial heinous acts should never be allowed to wear the hat of patriotism.
