Nice build. Best to add and solder the charge leads after you’ve shrink wrapped your battery pack. Also I normally hold the battery pack together with a ratchet strap and thin ply wood on top bottom.

Do you normally use these batteries? How do they perform compared to standard Lithium batteries?

How many batteries do you need to build a 30 or 50amp battery for a 36v 10.4amp 500w ebike the controller is a 36v/48v what would we have to change thank you.

Bms has always 1 extra wire for the number of parallels because the first neg uses two wires. The black and the first pos in the same row. Apart from that, great video! Congrats.

Nice Build! Great Job explaining:-) and maybe include a video of how you might Heat shrink it to make it safer, and make the battery last longer!

The "Lego" setup appears to be easier to diagnose and break down for battery replacement. Good on your new battery and moped:D!!

I purchased 3 52 volts, 13 ah packs. Some cells died killing the entire pack. Each pack has 72 cells. I've been taking them apart to rebuild. So my question is what cell tester should I get that can test and rate (charge and discharge cells). So I make good packs with cells with similar capacity.

Do you have any decent hobby charger like icharger 406duo to test capacity? Your 72v 15ah battery might be more like 72v 5ah if youre lucky...

darexg I saw your comment before this one. I tried hard to buy genuine cells, and spent a little extra, so when I tested this pack weeks later it was close to 12ah. It was lacking in the current area though, each cell had less Amos than others I’ve seen. Now I just buy recycled, rested name brand cells

That brand Ultrafire is one of the cheapest battery but it sucks in performance. You should've went to Panasonic or Samsung 18650 cells.

    I have a electric motor. With a lithium battery. Battery information is: 60V - 20AH - 1500W.
This emptiness will soon be empty. I have to charge every day. Which battery power stay for longer?
    Example: 60V. To change on 70V ?
    Or 20Ah. To make 30ah ?
    Or 1500W to 2500W ?
Wich one is Importe to drive longer time ?
    Thanks

      Which motor are you using?
To increase the range you need to add more cells in parallel that is increase it from 20AH to 30AH or 40AH ,voltage will depend upon your motor.

To order a battery. Both watt and ampere change simultaneously. If the watts increase, won't the engine break down?
      Orginal: 60V- 20Ah -1500W
Now: See please this battery info
      60v - 30ah 2500W
      60v 40ah 4000w
The higher the amp. Watt also goes up. Can I buy 60V 40 ah but 4,000 W?
      Thank you

@@tailor4202 Which motor are you using?
Cause motor will decide the wattage if you give more current to the motor than specified you may burn it.

these battery holders are rubbish as they crack a lot, because cells usually enlarge when charged or discharged and put pressure which results in crashing plastic covers. (((
