You got the air ride seat adjusted to your body weight? If the seat is all the way aired down you’ll feel every little bump, if it’s aired up to much you’ll feel every bump with 3 echoes.
@@PatrickShivers I think it was halfway, because im tall when I had it up my head will hit the roof, but next year I'll run the 7215r with duals on it and the cab bigger so I can put the seat all the way up,but thank you for that advice.I know what to do now.
Man that dirt over there where you are is a lot different than here! You only have a small window to work it or you have bricks out there to bust up. Used to have a 7810, loved it! But when those new 20 series came out, I wanted one so bad I could almost taste it! 😂
We have what a lot of people call 30 minute dirt. In 30 minutes it goes from to wet & sticky to to dry and hard. I like the 7000 series and pre R 8000 series. Those tractors work. Def, reginning, & sensors have ruined John Deere reliability
@@PatrickShivers 30 minute dirt? I’d believe that! I’m surprised we don’t see most of those tractors deleted in our part of the country. Pretty sure if I had one that’s what I’d do. I ran a 7200R a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with it! It was like a updated and current version of our old 7810.
All our R tractors have been deleted. That solved nearly all their problems….only issue is we did it to late. 8335R is on 4th motor and one of the 8285Rs is waiting on new engine to arrive. Reginning burns the motors out by 6000 hours. Pre def/regin tractors on our farm regularly get 20,000 with no issues. John Deere is willingly creating equipment with unreasonably short engine life for astronomical prices.
I have another video where I run the crumbler version on cotton land prep. It gives same result but doesn’t weigh as much. Heavy soils with large dried clods need the packer but lighter soils or slightly moist soils can be prepped with the crumbler.
Didn’t know anything would grow in clay . It’s been an education for me to see how you can farm in it though it looks difficult.
@@johnscurlock1204 red clay holds nutrients and water better than any soil…..but it is difficult to work. It takes specialization and timing.
Good thing you got duals,I use a 6115r with single rowcrops,Feel like you riding over the rocky mountains

From what I hear they do a great job of seedbed prep for grass seed as well. I’m looking at buying an older international harvester culti mulcher.

Do you know what size cylinder is on this thing the manual call for like a 3 1/2 x16 but that is a lot smaller than the one I took off
