I thought rye seeded before tilling would put the seed to deep, as rye doesn’t like deep cover. Guess I was wrong.

How deep did you till

As deep as the tiller would go.....let's call it 6" or so. Since we did a good burn off, we probably could have gone faster and shallower, but I like to grind up all that organic matter.
