And differently to what many other Spaniards around these channels say, I do think that the result of the final is not a foregone conclusion by any stretch. If we lose , its not too bad, they are young, its good experience , and the future looks very good. As long as they play well , and dont give up , that counts. I'm following the u 19 and u 23 England girls, and they are both doing well. They all play for the love of the game , not some multi millionaire rolling around like he has just been shot.

I think England with Lola Brown, Halbert, Vera Jones, Parkinson, the GK whose name I cant remember now, Jane Obowoudou, Parkinson... have plenty of players with very bright prospects. I am also of the opinion that the effect of the euro 2022 and WC 2023 in countries like England, Spain and Australia (huge increase in girls signing up for football) will show in 5-10 years. I think the level of those teams is going to be unreal.
Young women's football is good but they do need training with men teaching them how men play and skills to adapt that to playing as women especially with power contact and ball control with the men. like mixed matches could help for women.

Apparently Spain beat England 3 - 1, in last season’s WU17 Euro semi-finals. Hopefully we have improved since then
