Ham need a shot stopper who boots it upfueld every time. The fact that the heavy, elderly Gorry is the captain of the Hammers shows how unserious they are.
Kyra Cooney-Cross and Gorry are such an utter mismatch. The Arsenal player has great positioning, awareness and can time and place a pass. Gorry is from a long-passed era of women's football, hobbling around trying to keep up.
The Matildas are yet to get the best our of the player who is so famous. She needs a lot more of "the mongrel", the instinct for the physical one on one contest that Foord excels at. Fowler has Bunny and Vivianne at City so has far less pressure on her.
