I JUST GET THE STUFF THAT WALMART CARRIES BONDO BRAND RESIN AND CLOTH AND FILLER. NAPA AND CARQUEST STUFF IS HIGH DOLLAR AND THE STUFF I USE SUITS MY NEEDS VERY WELL. I THINK A GALLON OF RESIN IS LIKE $40ISH AND THE CLOTH IS $5 OR $6 FOR A GOOD SIZED SHEET AND THE BODY FILLER IS LIKE UNDER $20 A QUART

you can if you wish I usually keep mine hollow, if it was a wooden box I'd say some cotton batting to deaden some of the sound that the air makes when it hits tha back of the box.

Whoa, great video! . What do you think a shop should charge to build a custom box like you so expertly showed here? How much does it cost for the parts and product needed to build the box, and how long would u say is the total time it took you to build it. Its hard to tell as its on TH-cam and all the video editing. I was thinking about doing this myself, im capable, but lack the garage and tools, im not very handy but am a fast learner. U r a pro, can a novice do it yourself, or is it too difficult? What do you think?
    Thanks! Jeff

How did you figure out the enclosure volume?

I BASED IT ON THE VOLUME OF THE MAXIMUM TRADITIONAL CUBED BOX AND GAVE IT EXTRA LENGTH WIDTH AND DEPTH, BECAUSE OF WHERE THE CLOTH FALLS IT HELPS TO KEEP THE INTERNAL AIR SPACE SO IT ENDS UP BEING BETWEEN THE MINIMUM AND THE MAXIMUM AIR SPACE FOR THE SUB YOU ARE USING IT'S KIND OF HARD TO CALCULATE THE ACTUAL BUT I CAN SAY THAT ALL OF THEM I HAVE EVER MADE HAVE SOUNDED GREAT. I DO KNOW THERE IS A FORMULA BUT I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT IS BECAUSE MY METHOD HAS BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL OVER THE YEARS.

this one was a little over a gallon but i usually make them very durable so that they last with a good amount of wattage.

If I can go start to finish I can do it in a day and a half. the material cost are $40 for the resin about $5 for the fleece and the wood will depend on where you get it at, screws and staples are cheap and the brush to spread with is only a buck then the body filler is about $10 and the paint is rattle can so it"s not much either. I've actually seen shops charge up to 3-4 hundred for a fiberglass box. I think that you should be able to put one together yourself if you just take your time.
