@@N02cik I feel like it's popular yea but I don't think it's given enough credit, maybe I'm trying to say it's not as recommended as much as certain shows (Jjk, fma, demon slayer)..not throwing shade at any of those I just definitely enjoyed bsd wayyy more
5:51 "Chick flick anime"? Kinda. It's a parody of the "reverse-harem" genre that's very popular with girls. It pokes fun at the silly tropes and is actually really funny, even if you're not familiar with what's being parodied.
my big three favorites are Golden Kamuy, Dorohedoro, and Vinland Saga. all three are the best thing I can wish upon a person in terms of good media experiences.

honestly that was a banger list. though in my opinion, tokyo ghoul op1 is 100 times for legendary then op2, it's iconic. also i was so happy to see 2 of the bungo stray dogs openings on this list and the fact you pointed them out made me ecstatic. bungo stray dogs is a god tier show, honestly the op's are not my fav but the whole show concept is amazing, i do suggest it, though season 5 is coming out at the moment, so maybe far later into your anime journey you should then give it a go. as well with owari no seraph, also one of my absolute all time shows and i love the openings. + the anime - fruits basket(2019) - was not on this list but it has some of my favorite openings. though opening 5 is the best, hands down, sad they didn't include those.
