    Never tried the dry ice, soda blasting can be multipurpose, you can use that setup for other things other than house work. Trim the beard down to a 5 day grow, it will look more professional in my opinion.

    Cheers, soda blasting might be messier, but dry ice can be dangerous.

    Where i work they use cornstarch to blast expoxy paints off aircraft metal surfaces. It the more organic way for paint removal. It is better than using harsh chemicals.

    What is minimum cfm requirements for compressor to soda blast? And whats a good blast pot to use for the soda? We have a powder coating business and do our own sand blasting. Was thinking about offering soda blasting for mold removal

    • @wcbscout
      @wcbscout 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's close to the same as sandblasting as far as CFM, the media is lighter than sand though and isn't the same device setup as a sandblaster.

      In TN must be pest control to use it. Our states funny rules. I hear it's pretty good stuff. Is that what you use?

      @@CrawlSpaceNinja same in NC. So in TN you don't need applicators license for baking soda. I think in NC anything sprayed must possess applicators license. That's even if you are lawn care company spraying herbicides on concrete, around fences and such.

    Is it actual baking soda you are using from a grocery store?

    • @CrawlSpaceNinja
      @CrawlSpaceNinja  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's very similar! It's just a much larger quantity than what you could get at the grocery store.

    • @CrawlSpaceNinja
      @CrawlSpaceNinja  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CrawlSpaceNinja does a lot of the soda go thro the negative air filter?

  • @JohnWick-er6yu
    @JohnWick-er6yu 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I would imagine there would be some incidental inhalation of the soda dust by default despite of quality of mask and filters must clog quickly in the density of closed or confined spaces. It does not seem a healthy job and I would not want to expose my lungs, myself or anyone for the sake of deodorizing or cleaning a space. I would not want to deal w/ the fine dust that would permeate a clients house either. It seems like a liability. Dry ice seems like a healthier alternative IMOO.

    • @PolishBehemoth
      @PolishBehemoth 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you watch the video? He said dry ice gives off carbon dioxide. Dry ice is probably more toxic.

    • @PolishBehemoth
      @PolishBehemoth 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah also, people do dry ice blasting and soda blasting everyday and no health problems. So... Wrong on two of your points there. Dangerous jobs are part of of maintaining a home. That's what protective equipment and professionals are for
