Learning about UEVR with KroyVR | Episode 7

On today's Live Open Daily podcast, we learn about the ins and outs of UEVR from my friend KroyVR, who has spent well over 100 hours using the tool. UEVR is a program that allows for (most) any game build with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 to be playable in virtual reality to some degree.

I myself have trouble with playing flat screen gaming ever since uevr. Uevr omg so many great triple a games. I have played so far, stray, star wars fallin order, hogwarts legacy, ghost runner, terminator resistance, now I'm in the middle of robocop city. It's mind blowing. I'm technically dumb so I can't do the vr mods but the injector is different. I first tried it on my 1080 ti and it worked well enough and blew me away so much I immediately upgraded to a 4080 super. I haven't used profiles. I was happy enough using my game pad. So far I have about 75 hours using it. Uevr makes me feel like I died and went to heaven.

I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to VR and generally I want 6DOF movement and motion controls when I put the headset on, but I definitely recognize the value of UEVR and frankly I think it's a miracle piece of a software from a technical standpoint. Happy to have Kroy on to promote Praydog and & Flat2VR's work on this project.
