@@detroitgator1 sorry for the delay in responding, I only had one issue with lighting, I called Blackstone and they advised me on adjustments to the igniter rod. Blackstone has great customer service and you actually talk to the Blackstone people! Thanks for the question, Alan
Oil gets on the sides while cooking, to me it's not necessary to season the sides, I've had several Blackstone's and never had a problem with rust. Thanks for your question.
just found your video. Just one question for you. Can the regulator be turned down so the hose runs under the shelf and the 20 lb tank fit under the griddle?
Yes, it will work in any position, but with the 20lb tank it's easy to overpower the regulator(lock it up) just barely crack the 20lb cylinder until it is lit and then you can open it fully.
Big Al's Eats I saw At Scheels outdoor store, here in the upper midwest- South Dakota, for $17.95 they have a hose/regulator for the 22” similar to one on my gas grill. Might be worth the money.

The legs don’t go in the holes in the legs. The thumb screws tighten in the notches in the legs for adjustably.

You will have to purchase a propane bottle, 1 lb disposable or 20 lb. Walmart sells them
