There's a TON of other servants who are way ahead of her if we're talking servants who NEED or SHOULD get a buff. 3. Min turns are cool, and he'll probably talk about it since he makes gameplay content but that only affects the smaller part of the community who have everyone and can afford to do so with her set ups. 4. Correct infact most people don't even have all the Supports let alone NP5 on all. or even bother to level stuff to 120. it is a very small community. what I can see from my friends list after less then 100 days of playtime, is that most really quit cause of SKILL farming leveling a Character past 100, then decide F it not worth the time. even if they invested money into getting a NP5 gacha. once their pure prism runs out.
Well, like Plushie mentioned in the video, it's not like whether a servant needs a buff is a real deciding factor for buffing a servant. Neither Nero nor Schathach needed a buff at all, yet here we are. Koyan dark definitely isn't the servant who most needs a buff in the game, but she's definitely not broken or anything. I honestly think giving her a buff would be very nice. She is genuinly losing in alot of ways to units like Kuku. A buff that gives her some other niche for her to stand out would be great. She's not a unit that really needs a buff, but buffing her would be great.
to be fair about 2 ideally, we would get buffs not only to the worst ones but also to ones that dont stand out - people always act like x is taking a buff from y, but the issue is the devs not giving enough buffs to begin with, theres too many servants and too little buffs in a better world we wouldnt even mind if a decent but not broken unit got a buff because it'd just be one among many instead of the rarity it is
I feel like Koyami wasn't really made for min-turning. She is mostly made as a hybrid dps-support for multicore and she excels in that aspect. I get wanting to have your favorite servant buffed, but what you're suggesting is changing her playstyle completely.
He has given up, he says so at the end of the video, the problem is Buster Dps is falling behind. if we use the same setup with ART and Quick with oberon at the end. Infact Quick AOE DPS is way higher cause of their NP difference, a Quick AOE is 1200 at NP5 while buster ends up at 500 NP5. that is 700% NP difference. the 1.5 multiplier is done different then I thought. not affecting NP but affecting Attack Value.

A one cool down like Merlin would make her super insane Vitch honestly a np buff that gives self cool down would be interesting since she can't use her own skill to bring down her charge cool down. The other one probably more overcharge gimmicks to give her some unique uses as some units have insane overcharge gimmicks.
I'd wish she got a 40% battery for herself and a 20% party wide battery for caotic and a 20% party wide battery for evil, that way if u used 2 Tamamos u get 100% battery for each other with no ce and would enable 2 Tamamo Setup with no ces, that would also allow dps with good refund to be more agressive in most content.

My only gripe with this meme is that it leaked beyond your personal preference and into a general impression of Koyan Dark being mid, but it's more of a content issue, you guys rated her after all EX in your tier list.
Wish they'd just remove her arbitrary restriction on her S2 for animal trait servants. It's unnecessary and half the time they can't even be consistent with who or what even gets animal trait (bunny suits and costumed animal ears).

Complaining that the gap between her and other servants is becoming smaller is just bias and not actually a prob since it means its reducing powercreep, tho in this specific case its not really relevant. She's fine as she is, if anything, i'd like them to remove the restriction on her 2nd skill since that further strengthens her actual role
Whether she needs a buff or not, I can't deny that there are things they could have easily addressed that would make her overall more applicable in the job she's supposed to do. Especially with Merlin encroaching on her niche (Buster support with a 30% splash battery), the thing she still has going for her in a multicore context is the damaging NP. But as noted in the video, the damage isn't enough unless you hypercharge her to obscene levels like Plushie did. An NP upgrade could have made her more accessible at lower NP levels at the very least, which matters for the majority of the playerbase. But even if we pretend that an NP upgrade would let her get too close to designated damage dealers (like Kukulkan, I agree that this shouldn't be the case unless they buff Kuku's support in return), why not give her the Tezcatlipoca treatment with a 20% self-battery on her Splash battery? All it would do is make her more accessible in multicore and less dependent on starting charge CEs. And if there is a starting charge CE it would at least allow me to use it at the innitial 30% charge stage, be it because it don't or can't MLB it yet for the full 50% charge. Big quality of life change, no worries about powercreep. Or why not extend her Attack up on Animal Trait servants to Living Humans as well? You know, since she had that whole "humans are basically animals anyway" love/hate relationship going on? Even in this very Ordeal Call?? It wouldn't change much in practice, just a cute little nod towards the lore and a minor buff in certain comps (like Asagami Fujino, who she actually shared a banner with, probably due to the shrine priestess theme they have going on). You know, little things. Not just huah huah me minturn unga bunga.

My wet dream is Lasengle making a "new type event" which consists only in servant buffs and gimmicky/strange quests (similar to advanced quest) for a period of one and half week Imagine if they made that instead of only recollection, memorial and hunts, they could rerun old servants while giving content creators source for actual content and something real to do in the game, aside for farming. During one of these, they could address servant's kit problems even for better-than-average ones like koyandark or even yang guifei, without the fear of wasting a slot during anniversary

I get it, we all want our favourite servants to get buffed in ways that benefit how we enjoy playing the game. But most of us don't use our platform (if we even have one!) to yap yap yap about it as much and you've been lol. Also Kukulkan is such a cool character, you gotta cool it with the hate man! Two legends can both co-exist!
I didn't think anyone needed a dedicated video to talk about why she needs a baff. Apart from challenge quests she is trash. I say it as someone who has her np3 120. You need to invest heavily in her to make her viable. I mean, just check damage. Kukulkan 1 np = 4 np koyan dark.

But you know, they are crazily expensive. I have np5 120 Morgan and toneliko there. It works perfectly fine. However, I don't think it's something you can promote for everyone. If Morgan wasn't my waifu it would have been just stupid amount of investment so a few characters could farm what other do on dramatically lower investment.
I just ignore Koyan Dark's banners and don't worry about it 😅 If I really need to bring a foreigner to a fight, I'll just use Hokusai or Kuku if I can get her to come home

Koyan may not need directly a Buff to her but could still get a nice one as she's. . Well, a Beast and all and we know Draco is broken, Kama is broken and all Grand servants are broken so since it's impossible to qualify Koyan as broken as the others then they can just do the basic like what happened with Ishkandar where they sneaked a small NP gain stat buff to his disastrous NP gain or just make his NP effect of Buster ressistance down hit BEFORE the actual NP dmg similar to Arjuna Alter or Nero saber wich isn't actually that broken since she's not as broken as Arjuna alter even with that small change. Other thing could be to give the NP better effects like increasing NP dmg by 20% for 3T or to recharge her own NP by 20% so she can work on the koyan system wich is stupid she, a koyan, doesn't work with the koyanskaya system wich can be solved by either the NP like Nikitich or like other servants and make it part of the 1st skill to increase her own NP by 50% but allies by 30% with probably a 20 star bomb to increase the utility with double Koyan of light
I would agree that an NP Buff would do her some good as a means to help all players. Maybe if she not only got buffed scaling but they extended her ATK up before NP from 1 turn to 3 turns. That not only gives her some ramping damage in farming, it gives her prolonged help to her cards in things like CQs and Boss fights
does she NEED a buff? no. but the people who really need them aren't going to get them as buffs are more a avenue to sell units not balance the game. So when she gets a banner why not buff her to improve sales, couldn't hurt it's not like she's break the game by doing better at a gimmick.
I think she 100% needs a buff. she lacks AoE dmg buffs other than Buster and atk(animal only) would add target 30% np dmg and gain AoE on skill 3, could be with her included or not for the 30% dmg, I find the team buffing part to be more important.

Complaining that the gap between her and other servants is becoming smaller is just bias and not actually a prob since it means its reducing powercreep, tho in this specific case its not really relevant.
She's fine as she is, if anything, i'd like them to remove the restriction on her 2nd skill since that further strengthens her actual role
Whether she needs a buff or not, I can't deny that there are things they could have easily addressed that would make her overall more applicable in the job she's supposed to do. Especially with Merlin encroaching on her niche (Buster support with a 30% splash battery), the thing she still has going for her in a multicore context is the damaging NP. But as noted in the video, the damage isn't enough unless you hypercharge her to obscene levels like Plushie did. An NP upgrade could have made her more accessible at lower NP levels at the very least, which matters for the majority of the playerbase.
But even if we pretend that an NP upgrade would let her get too close to designated damage dealers (like Kukulkan, I agree that this shouldn't be the case unless they buff Kuku's support in return), why not give her the Tezcatlipoca treatment with a 20% self-battery on her Splash battery? All it would do is make her more accessible in multicore and less dependent on starting charge CEs. And if there is a starting charge CE it would at least allow me to use it at the innitial 30% charge stage, be it because it don't or can't MLB it yet for the full 50% charge. Big quality of life change, no worries about powercreep.
Or why not extend her Attack up on Animal Trait servants to Living Humans as well? You know, since she had that whole "humans are basically animals anyway" love/hate relationship going on? Even in this very Ordeal Call?? It wouldn't change much in practice, just a cute little nod towards the lore and a minor buff in certain comps (like Asagami Fujino, who she actually shared a banner with, probably due to the shrine priestess theme they have going on).

My wet dream is Lasengle making a "new type event" which consists only in servant buffs and gimmicky/strange quests (similar to advanced quest) for a period of one and half week
Imagine if they made that instead of only recollection, memorial and hunts, they could rerun old servants while giving content creators source for actual content and something real to do in the game, aside for farming. During one of these, they could address servant's kit problems even for better-than-average ones like koyandark or even yang guifei, without the fear of wasting a slot during anniversary

tbh I feel like when archtoria got a buff (imo she really didn’t need a battery when her np gain is banana bonkers) are bets were off the table, making any servant that didn’t need a buff, recieve a buff. Just my opinion tho.

Glad you're finally putting this meme to rest, it was getting kind of annoying with the constant yapping about it man. I get it, we all want our favourite servants to get buffed in ways that benefit how we enjoy playing the game. But most of us don't use our platform (if we even have one!) to yap yap yap about it as much and you've been lol.
Also Kukulkan is such a cool character, you gotta cool it with the hate man! Two legends can both co-exist!
I didn't think anyone needed a dedicated video to talk about why she needs a baff. Apart from challenge quests she is trash. I say it as someone who has her np3 120. You need to invest heavily in her to make her viable. I mean, just check damage. Kukulkan 1 np = 4 np koyan dark.
Every servant damage is trash compared to Kulkulkan. Your standard is already skewed to begin with
@@rdwn1999 kukulkan is just her class. So it should be the most obvious comparison. Most of buster farming servants have higher damage. Multicore setups are good point. But you know, they are crazily expensive. I have np5 120 Morgan and toneliko there. It works perfectly fine. However, I don't think it's something you can promote for everyone. If Morgan wasn't my waifu it would have been just stupid amount of investment so a few characters could farm what other do on dramatically lower investment.

Koyan may not need directly a Buff to her but could still get a nice one as she's. . Well, a Beast and all and we know Draco is broken, Kama is broken and all Grand servants are broken so since it's impossible to qualify Koyan as broken as the others then they can just do the basic like what happened with Ishkandar where they sneaked a small NP gain stat buff to his disastrous NP gain or just make his NP effect of Buster ressistance down hit BEFORE the actual NP dmg similar to Arjuna Alter or Nero saber wich isn't actually that broken since she's not as broken as Arjuna alter even with that small change.
Other thing could be to give the NP better effects like increasing NP dmg by 20% for 3T or to recharge her own NP by 20% so she can work on the koyan system wich is stupid she, a koyan, doesn't work with the koyanskaya system wich can be solved by either the NP like Nikitich or like other servants and make it part of the 1st skill to increase her own NP by 50% but allies by 30% with probably a 20 star bomb to increase the utility with double Koyan of light

I would agree that an NP Buff would do her some good as a means to help all players. Maybe if she not only got buffed scaling but they extended her ATK up before NP from 1 turn to 3 turns. That not only gives her some ramping damage in farming, it gives her prolonged help to her cards in things like CQs and Boss fights

does she NEED a buff? no. but the people who really need them aren't going to get them as buffs are more a avenue to sell units not balance the game. So when she gets a banner why not buff her to improve sales, couldn't hurt it's not like she's break the game by doing better at a gimmick.

would add target 30% np dmg and gain AoE on skill 3, could be with her included or not for the 30% dmg, I find the team buffing part to be more important.
