Perhaps next time research how to completely drain coolant because simply taking radiator hoses off does not do that. Hopefully both the coolants you used are Ok to be mixed together.

Dude, you have to use a badge made for airbags, or else it could be VERY dangerous if the airbag goes off. There probably is a OEM toyota steering wheel badge that will fit.

You should just fit a 7th gen Toyota celica steering wheel if it fits (I imagine it would) it is the same style wheel you have but without the painted bits and the airbag will have the toyota embelm already.

Radiator fixing trick. If one fin has a hole in it, trace it back to the tank on each side. Remove the fins around it about an inch towards the center. Cut the leaking passage and fold/move it in towards the center. You should have a hole at the tank on each side, if you clean it up and put radiator epoxy/putty/jb weld over that hole and around the tank sides a little bit. It will hold. When you try and fix it at leak I the center, it never works like you said, but fixing it at the end tank sides is do-able.

You can repair that brake handle by using super glue in pitted areas and a light sand over it while its still tacky to smooth it out, then sand the whole handle and use some leather paint on it
You could possibly get those blanks 3d printed for cheaper - especially if you have one to scan.

Mineral spirits are petrochemicals. Yes they will penetrate & dry out the leather, just soak it with leather conditioner to undo that.
Or try *brake* *fluid* , that also removes paints and vinyl sprays. You'll need solvents to remove that paint, unless you get a vinyl repair guy to respray the wheel instead. Some of them can make it look and feel like a new leather wheel.

Whether you finish each build right away or not, I enjoy your videos. Anybody that loves cars or car projects knows they don't get done overnight or in order of importance! Keep up the hard work and the daily grind... It's much better "content" then you showing up to drive the finished project after your "friends, paid help, or ass kissing fake friends" have finished your TJ build 😊

Use lacquer thinner to remove the silver paint and then use SEM brand vinyl and leather dye to refinish the wheel. I have used SEM products for years with great results.

I was skeptical about the Altezza steering wheel at first, but it looks a lot better than that square Toyota one. I’m sure you could trace an outline and fabricate a Toyota badge to fit the center cover and it will look really good once it’s complete. I’m super excited to see more progress on this car! Keep up the great work broheim

To remove the paint on the steering wheel you could try a magic eraser, it shouldn't damage the layer underneath but it might me aggressive enough to remove the stuff that's on top.

For the steering wheel "altezza" thingo, get a bit of thick smooth rubber, mark out the supra logo on it, and use some lino cutters to either cut around the logo, or cut the logo out itself.

Suggestions: Instead of trying to strip the grey, prep it and go over the grey with black vinyl dye. Also, instead of spending $90 on blanks, send the console to Doug and Rafa at Soundman (see TH-cam channel) and have them do a custom iPad install.

There's two sensors for a reason. It's a bit of redundancy. If the gauge fails the ECU still works, but if the ECU sensor fails you get a Temp warning, Engine light or both.

Fwiw, if you're replacing a resistor with a straight wire, you can just put the wire in across the resistor leads. Less work with the same result. Same with shorting wires across capacitors, etc.
