The HSS and SSS have different pickups. Ultra Noiseless Vintage on the SSS and Ultra Noiseless Hot on the HSS (with Ultra Double Tap Humbucker)

Here’s what I did… got rid of those Noiseless pickups and Seymour made the sound much better.

What's the difference between say a 2019 ultra and brand new?

There shouldn't be a difference with the base models compared to a 2019. So for example, the Texas Tea Strat will have the same specs as a 2019. Keep an eye out for models like the ones we talked about in the video s they are limited with slightly different specs

Are the necks really roasted maple? The specs In the official Fender website there is no mention to the neck being roasted maple

Why not just buy a loaded SSS pickguard and swap them out? Then you’ll have both with 20 minutes of work.

i'm a metal guy and I own a cheap chinese made kcc strat and it doesn't sound any way as good as a fender american ultra strat. but I'm still going to upgrade to an Ibanez GRX70 or a eastcoast HM1 electric guitar
