can you put a 3s system in a slash 2wd ????

Did you notice the PULL distance on those wheelies..??? Punch was a measly 5 forgot to reset before run.. modified with arrma BLX 100 system , spektrum electronics, 0.8 mod steel 57t ring gear, hardened 13t pinion, GTX shocks, HD slipper pads, full sealed bearings, POWERHOBBY rooster paddle tires with 12-14-17mm adapter hubs, 17mm hub adaptor kit from 12 to 17mm, stock tires on front, new steering knuckles, hubs, hub shafts, metal hex hubs , larger thicker tie rods front and back, bulk head and brace, and a full metal welded cage. So how did it do..?? well for not being dialed in properly with the tuning, I'd say it did really really well. The stock trans of course was never going to hold up its over 15 yrs old. It was a shelf queen we picked up and really had no intentions of creating or changing anything on it. But over time we quickly discovered it would actually need a few things. Maybe we went a little nutty at first , but, where's the fun in being boring..A new trans is ready to be put in , a nice BEEFY one..!!! time to get it running again and see what it will do now with a better trans and parts with the ESC settings changed.. we tried some grippy wide tires and it was not fun because the car would lift too much from the traction. You don't see this type of power when its displaced to 4 tires, everything here went straight to the rear and off it went..

Well the VXL system is 3s so i dont see why not. The trans dont like it really but it will run a 27/86 setup really well.

thanks for the comment, I was looking at that set up to put in it..testing gear combos and such..this poor car was a boxed and forgotten prize..everything is out of date and old..trans was the last to go..I figured it would but that's the whole fun in seeing what will happen..she gave a good run till the end..have a HR billet kit for the trans now, steel gears, etc..even have a slip eliminator for it..ill try the 27/86 in the near future here..thanks..

My slash has a 4s system but if I run 3s it causes the rear tyres to self destruct

thanks for the comment..lol thats awesome..!!!! what tires did it destroy..? factory or aftermarket..?
have a couple more gear combos to try then it will probably get another motor upgrade..I'll put the wide tires back on it and show how it is unstable to drive..always two wheels only..insane..

@@loosewheelsrc I have tried all sorts of wheels and tyres with the same results. Wasn’t until I fitted a sealed diff with 500000 weight fluid that it stopped shredding tyres

good idea , ill give it a try in the new transmission. time to put the duramax wides back on , or the monster beetle tires..lol too much fun
