I enjoyed this comparison. I just picked up a 2012 after being out of the game for years. My last bike was an 06 YZ250F. I was amazed by the 2012 Honda. I’m in the category of not being fast enough to need a brand new ride. Lol.
It's obsolete bro. Don't build it anymore. Never coming bk to Pro MX! Modern four strokes make near 60hp stock in 450cc class. That's incredible . After 4-stroke we will be in all electric realm so get a new 4-stroke or 2 like I did! 👍
The 22 is mostly all bottom end and you can really tell when you ride the bikes back to back. The 2012 also has a yoshi on it so that could be a difference.
My 2015 rmz450 that weighs 400lbs will show you how planted a bike can be, throw some engine work into the ‘12 and they can be great bikes, perfect choice today for a nice all around bike

Rode a 22, love it but for more experienced riders the 2010 just in my opinion leans with me easier then the 22.
Had both, the 2022 has a lot better motor. The 2012 was nice with a 270cc kit and som mods.
Put the CR 250R up against those 4 stokes… that’s the video I want to see!💯

How you think that 12 has more top end is actually crazy. The pre 18 motors had no top end.

I'm 5 5 and I have a 2012 crf250r it's a little big but only when still. When I'm on track it's really nice to throw around.
when i ride my friends 2013 crf250 it is enough power to me who has a cr85r
