OpenUTAU for Diffsinger + Tension support (You’ll need this version of OpenUTAU to use A.I.CHI! Be sure not to automatically update it when opening):

Alternatively, Tension is now supported in the main branch of OpenUTAU (Beta ver. only for now), you may update it in the editor itself, or manually update your OpenUTAU version by replacing the files with this version: github.com/stakira/OpenUtau/r...

EXTRA TIPS (might add to this in the future!)
- Tension is not only bound to vowels, but also consonants! Putting tension lower makes the consonants clearer, and putting it higher makes them more slurred.
- To further fix the “dx” issue, you can shift the tension up for the consonant, lower the velocity, or use a combination of both.
- When converting SVPs to USTx, you must convert all “-” phonemes to “+” phonemes if you want to connect notes.

these a.i.chi tutorials are EXTREMELY helpful for me & teach me so much about the engines he’s on (whether that be enunu/nnsvs or diffsinger) that i wouldn’t have had a clue about otherwise… tysm for making this video because i would’ve been totally lost without it 🤧
