Best episode by far 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾So candid and honest. Getting a man's opinion about divorce was quite refreshing. Thank you to the Pastor for allowing himself to open up to us. I learned so much from the interview
This is a man who have told himself the truth. I think other divorced men should take counseling from him. I have respect for this man because he admitted his mistakes and he is definitely coming to terms with them. I understand his position. He comes across as still in love with his ex-wife but as he said, a lot has happened.

I now have great respect for Ps Phiri. You really became vulnerable in this interview and I can see your genuineness. I am a Pastor myself and I can relate
After how much damage because he see himself as a pastor? He was supposed to find himself first before he went anywhere near a pulpit. Part of the interpretation was supposed to reveal his true identity so that he can function effectively as a pastor but for some reason his professor missed that important part of scripture.
It's unfortunate that we are quick to see right and wrong (being judgemental). God is not judgemental, and he advised us all against being judgemental. But he teaches us to truthful all the times. Your truth is forever changing whether you like it or not (pastor or not). When you understand this truth, you will know that we are forever creating ourselves with the new truth. All human beings recreate themselves daily with the new truth, and creation is never ending. In this process we find ourselves
I think the greatest issue here is the inability to balance priorities in family life.every family needs at least enough money to fulfill needs and want of the modern life.but the quest for money to save us from poverty should not destroy our priorities in life and family life.while I admire the honesty of this pastor at the same time I think he fell into the trap of darkness by not balancing his priorities as a family man, pastor and businessman and going over board into the valley of no time for wife and kids.
Relebogile you hit it straight. He loves his exwife but didnt know how to love. He needed time with his wife. Thats all she wanted.Pastor Phiri may God guide you.I listened to your sermons and they were powerful.May God bring you back together in love.At least you have really searched and now you know people, know yourself and now live your life.
God want us including the Pastors to be holy as he is holy, not sinners as the devil, we don't have to be half holy and half evil. We must have the mind of Christ not mixed with the mind of the devil.
As a twice-ordained female minister, (in the US) let me just say this man is speaking so much truth. The pressure on male preachers to get married is fierce! I can see that he has been hurt and scarred deeply by looking his family and by "the church" its rules and expectations. Men who watch this please note...when your woman/wife says she needs or wants something twice, STOP and attend to it before she says it a 3rd time!!! I would like to know where he is and how he feels about ministry now. I'm praying for him and his family.
It is important to ask God to give you a woman who love God first at times she can be in the church and be possessed or have a spiritual husband and the devil will use her to destroy the church
I love his honesty, and him not being spiritual about the whole process. As sad as it may be to see someone like him divorce, it is our responsibility to learn from the mistakes of others.
Thank you Pastor for being real and vulnerable. I love how you spoke about healing as a man cause mostly we think healing is only for women. Relebogile I think this particular one needs a part 2. Pastor Phiri has a lot to share and we can also send questions prior to Part 2 . You are doing an amazing job Sis 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

As a man and not being able to provide can really shift a lot of focus. This pastor is REAL and that's what we want REALNESS! May your show and yourself grow strength to strength
I liked his honesty but I can see where things went wrong. 1. None of them were ready for marriage. 2. She should have gotten a job and try to find her way. 3.They weren't ready for children. They didn't have a plan. Christians are humans but we need to be very careful.
"The church folks are very judgemental " That hit so deep, having been raised in church was I know exactly what you talking about. I don't think I was judged by society the way I was judged in church. I fully understand why when people say they don't wanna go to church coz church people are so messed up, they forget that we are all human, we make mistakes and we have to learn from them
I am glad the pastor is not blaming anyone but himself, for neglecting the family.many divorce cases are from being neglected if its not abondonment. Thankyou so much ,I wish many men can learn from this episode. 💯

Your comment is honest. He might have been pressurised to marry but the choice of a partner was absolutely his. They didn't bring that specific woman by force to him, he chose her. Thanks Pastor, I am a Young Divorced Pastor like u n honesty I really relate to ur story. I only wish My X Wife will allow me to talk to her, not to make up bt to go separate ways in good terms.
No, I think you should be talking to a counselor, especially a trained professional marriage counselor. Not a fellow pastor because pastors (who are mostly men) will only tell the women to stay and endure all the problems in their bad marriage. Seek advice from a trained marriage therapist to get unbiased opinion and protect your privacy from your church elders. Remember this in your next marriage. Good luck

The second thing here is that he discovered that he was a business man and did not like being a pastor anyway. I think he alluded to that in this interview. He sounded very honest here but some of the things he said makes one to think there are more things than meets the eye here.
Good luck
Awuyi!! Sheim P.s. 🤗❣unenyani,maaan I love honesty,thruth,I salute u👊
This pastor is so real n I think he really needed to work to assist the family. However money 💰 can mess family.
Honest man and open reflection, good lessons for the rest of us. Thanks pastor 🙏🏿👌🏿👌🏿
Owww Pastor Phiri much love and your honesty and transparency was so relevant for me,,,,may you heal and hope you find love ❤❤
Great interview. The Pastor came out very honestly. Divorce destroys families
I love how articulated this man is ...he is so honest and puts the blame on himself
I'm happy to see that there are more subscribers joining this channel. The whole South Africa should join.
I feel like crying watching this. I wish they get reconciled back to each other. The man is so honest.
He's a sweet man ,he wont hurt a fly...just life lessons
