So we are back with another classic and it’s from the 2000s. This is titled HARDBALL from 2001! Starring Keanu Reeves. Conor (Keanu Reeves) is a ticket scalper, gambler and, now, Little League coach for a rag-tag team of kids in one of the toughest part of Chicago. He's no role model, but his buddy Jimmy won't help him pay off his gambling debts unless Conor coaches Jimmy's corporately sponsored team. Surprising even himself, Conor becomes attached to his players -- and to their attractive schoolteacher (Diane Lane) -- and drawn into their tough and sometimes tragic lives.

This is such a good movie for real. And the very first time that I saw this movie Hardball was when it came out on VHS and Home Video. And I really really really enjoy your reaction to this movie a lot.

This movie is incredible. GBaby has my heart forever. So many people sleep on Keanu in the 90s. So many actors started in this flick.
Michael B Jordan was 14 in this movie now he's 37

those were the last of the cabrini projects from candyman in Chi they show for a moment. those were some hard streets back in the 80s and 90s for us kids back then.
First time watcher of the channel. Great movie to react to, not many do. Got my subscription.
I saw this in theaters, I'd have been about a month or so short of turning 11. Great damn movie, excellent sports movie, great soundtrack, and of course... very heartfelt and brings the tears. G-Baby got us all.

Crazy that this movie was released 3 days after 9-11. This movie is definitely underrated. I was shocked when I saw Michael B. Jordan in the cast.

It's Chicago...I was already 6'2" and 200lbs in high school(No not fat). Why I love being an uncle...get to hang out with my nephews and watch them and than give them back to my sister and their dad lol. My sister is a nurse at the Children's Hospital in Chicago...i feel bad cause she has to see some messed up stuff.

That kid that plays Andre was on Quiet on the set documentary one of the co stars from "all that" who was rolled in peanut butter and had dogs picking him
You should check out The Gift from 2000. Keanu plays a completely different role in this movie.

This is my first time finding out about this movie but watching it with y'all I found it very Heartfelt & Uplifting for a Sports Movie had some funny moments in there too
This movie did well because it came out around 9/11 and a lot of people needed a feel good movie and this was it. Plus it was in NY
This did not make us feel good, especially G baby death, this shi had me losing my gangster stats I was deadass crying
