It feels like with a job, you end up putting in so much extra time and effort, but the pay never really matches the work. It’s tough to stay motivated when it feels like you're just grinding away without seeing the rewards, both financially and mentally.

that's everything in life: work, relationships, fitness, etc. People do it because the alternative is worse.

There is no such thing as a correct pay for work. Value is subjective. The only determination of value that can be made is the value the subject ascribes to it. IE the employee. The fact there is someone willing to do the work for the listed pay means it is correct.

corporations think their workers are always happy at work and super friendly, but that is false advertising. Most workers dont want to talk to anyone at work!

I'm dealing with a place that is downright weird.
It's like enforced mandatory positivity. Like you owe it to yourself to be positive no matter how badly you're treated there or how much crap you witness.
They send out Facebook affirmations and cute little sayings every single day. They offer parties and cake in the break rooms.
But when it comes to the failing structure of the company and the lack of competency up top, the only solution is more smiles. More happy.
It's like being told to sing while the ship sinks.

Most of the jobs that do drug testing are jobs where the people actually need it on their time off. I'm not promoting it but just an observation that most of the people who want to smoke when they get home can only get jobs where they're drug tested unless it's a really minimum low wage job that doesn't test. Meanwhile, all of middle and upper management can go party and smoke whenever they want.

Man, when you told that story about the guy’s girl that left him for being too sad I felt that.
Me and my girl are having a hard time right now. I just talk about how lame life is right now. I feel like my job is ruining my life. We have different days off. It’s not sustainable.
I can feel her removing herself emotionally. Part of me doesn’t care for some reason. I don’t know where that’s coming from. Maybe this is just what I’ve come to expect from relationships.

Eternal struggle isn’t it. Humans want connection, but the closer they get to one another, the less they want to know more.
The workplace is hell no matter what I think. You might argue that we have it easier today, but I also feel like there were different factors playing into why people managed to find it easier to keep pushing through adversity in the past. It’s difficult to put it into words, but I think less social alienation/polarization made it easier for humans to find comfort with one another in days long gone.

Steam, God loves you, including your faults. Purge your faults before you die, but if you don't, and you find yourself in a situation where an angel is trying to convince you that you deserve God's love, try to listen, understand, and accept.

    • @skyblazeeterno
      @skyblazeeterno หลายเดือนก่อน

Prostitution is your friend. If you're below average looking as a man you will simply struggle to get a girlfriend. I know as I'm sub par looking. Any woman I got was ultimately a gold-digger so it's better to just get a cheaper gold digger than a girlfriend

    • @Yggdrasill8

Homeless drug addicts get their drug addict gf. It's an x-factor that women can sniff out in guys even though they would look like complete losers to us. Their are also rich losers, and attractive losers although very rare occurance.

      Work smarter not harder.
You commented and boosted his engagement more than retention time would have. Congrats, you bamboozled yourself. I agree it's a tad bit lazy, but do you think he has the time or money to pay someone to edit thumbnails or create them himself? That's a full time job in itself, I would know, cause it's what I do.
His channel is growing faster than his last channel and garnering more engagement than ever before, so it's obviously doing the trick. There's millions of mind numbing and attention grabbing thumbnails and videos out there, I don't think MillenialSteam's is gonna affect anything that much. You obviously don't watch his channel or know anything about him cause he unironically uses AI to mock prol's like you. His entire channel is against modern day workforce and wage slavery and you expect him to spend hours of the little free time he has editing thumbnails for videos that talk about how much he hates doing work, lmao.
Again, work smarter not harder, he got you here, and me. It's really not that big of a deal. Calling him lazy is crazy though, it takes hours to edit a good thumbnail. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Many other people do it, and it aint going anywhere cause your upset about it,
