One tip that helps me a ton with selecting elk to hunt is to watch their head position. Weaker elk hold their head back when they run like they are puffing out their chest while stronger elk have their heads forward. Some name ideas from my pack (Gemstone Pack): Emerald, Jet, Iron, Copper, Amber, Quartz, Garnet, Steel, Obsidian, Topaz, Slate, Corundum, Flint, Opal, and Granite.
Great gameplay. Its tough to raise a family in Hellroaring map. I choose to do Slough Creek because you will always get elk there because of small map.... but with that, Slough creek is riddled with coyotes and many more bears, but least more food too O_O.
Tip for finding babies, this is normal for the elk mother to lure you away but there has been some cases where if you act aggressive, *Snarls, high tails* around some grass spots she will look, and act tense and try and lure you away, have been cases where she actually comes closer and attacks.
So I'm not sure if I'm the only one who realized but, as you guys know there are multiple herds of Elk the Sagewort herd which is being hunted 21:21 is the same herd that i think the first litter hunted when they were young hunters? Might've been the second litter. But thats sorta cool, just figured I'd point that out. 😊❤
