    Yay for the Jibun Techo! I love seeing how excited you are about it, and I hope you enjoy using it. :) Last June I purchased a Jibun Techo Biz Mini that was 50% off because the year was half over. I was trying out different weekly planners, and as soon as I opened the Biz Mini I knew it was "the one." My 2024 Biz Mini started in December - both the monthly and the weeklies - so I promptly started using it. It's so good! Happy 2024 to you! :)

    I just ordered mine, but I bought the biz version in a5 size.
    It's the first time I will be using a "premade" planner especially at this price(it's not cheap for me)
    I hope it can improve my productivity and consistency because this year (at the beginning) I tried planning and journaling but only using blank kokuyo loose leaf binder but it didnt work :(

      Yeah I used to use plain notebooks because I loved the flexibility, but, it became too much work to keep it up. It’s ok if you have times where you use your planner more and times where you use it less. Don’t put pressure on yourself and let it do what you need it to do for you. 😊

    I have the b6 slim days.. I use the bottom of the months for habit tracking.

    I made the switch this year from Hobonichi to Jibun Techo Life. I also bought the mini, but that’s too small for me on the monthly.

    You can use the camera option on Google translate to see what the planner says in Japanese. I did this with mine and put very thin masking/washi tape over the Japanese and put English.

    I don't think I've ever heard someone physically say the term "ad hoc". I thought that was for typing/reading only!

    • @kyra_james
      @kyra_james  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Haha! I’m not sure I have either, I hope I used it correctly!

      Work speak. Use it all the time in the office for this lovely “unexpected/surprise” projects/requets

    • @AllTheArtsy
      @AllTheArtsy ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ad hoc is basically just... "and everything else" so it fits real well in any irl situation 😅

    • @arguchik
      @arguchik ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AllTheArtsy I think you're thinking of "et al," which is short for "et alia," which means "and others." The literal translation of "ad hoc" is "to this," or in everyday usage, "for this purpose." It gets used as a modifier for "committee" a lot, so here's an example: "We formed an ad hoc committee to investigate this weird situation that we've never dealt with before, and to make recommendations for how we should handle it." So the ad hoc committee exists only for that special situation and will be dissolved when the situation has been dealt with; as opposed to a standing committee which always exists.

      @@arguchik no i wasnt thinking that at all lol
