Post Spawn Bass Fishing (New 2024 PB on the Wacky Rig!!!)

Another great day of spring bass fishing on the local lake here in Maryland! The bass are in post spawn mode for the most part and all kinds of techniques are working right now. The bass are up shallow (snakeheads too!) and just a cast away! A drop shot and wacky rigged senko did the trick!!!

Great video! You have been killing the bass lately! Actually got out for about 4 hours last Saturday for a Snakehead tournament and caught a 5 fish bag and placed 4th. A key to getting those snakes to bite when they are just following is to add a bladed weight to your frog. They cannot resist the flash.

Dude. You clearly know how to catch them. And I don't know how pressured your fish are. But I find on my wacky rigs I can push a heavier leader line (like 10 or 12lbs) and it doesn't affect the bite the way it does on shaky heads, ned rigs and drop shots. Feel free to give it a shot so you can feed those big girls the onions!
