I've worked in a jail for almost 15 years and I've learned two truths. 1) Bad guys hate snitches and 2) Every bad guy snitches the second it will help them.
She was my neighbor growing up. Still to this day the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in person. She had a great heart and sadly fell in with the wrong crowd. I was not popular but she was always kind to me, despite her being one of the most popular girls in our school. We went to the same drivers Ed class and she would walk back with me a mile to our neighborhood from the reservation bus stop so I wouldn’t have to walk alone, I won’t forget that. She had plenty of friends who would have given her a ride, but she was just that kind. Absolute shame. Found out about it in Basic Training, it happened a few months after we graduated. Absolutely senseless.

I’ve been through a horrific rape when I was 14 he put a gun to my head it’s terrifying and it started because I had neighbors/friends I thought I could trust! It was very traumatic!

In 2004, my 16 year old daughter was writing to local juveniles in prison. She had been keeping in touch with 3 or four of them. I immediately called the juvenile facility and told them what I found and ordered them to stop the letters! They did. We’ve had our challenges with our daughter since then, but thank a God we stopped that!!!

At 16 I had severe depression, hated myself, and was very very self-destructive. If I had been told to stop I would have done even worse things.

I found my father dead out at his fishing lake where he was camped. It was pure hell !!! He had a heart attack sometime early that morning, found him sitting in a chair with his head in his arms. He had a bad heart. Then went to happy's Inn and called the sheriffs office then called my mom. Then called my brother Bill, his wife Penni answered and told her the bad news, suffice to say she did not take it good, she screamed, then my Bill got on the phone and he sais is this some kind of sick joke. I said it's no joke bill dad's gone and told him to get out there as fast as he could. Told him I called the sheriffs office and they were on their way. Very sad day for me. This happened in 2000. My mom passed away in 2006 at the care center from heart failure. She died in her sleep.

When I was a teen I was obsessed with music and always at the university practicing. One Saturday I was invited to go hang out with some people from school. My mom didn’t like them and said no, you’re not going with that crowd! Period!! I was upset and went to my room mad. On Sunday morning I could hear voices in the kitchen. Those teens that asked me to go out were all killed, all 5 in a high speed chase after running from police. They were going 90 mph on a two lane road with a lot of sharp curves! At 90 mph they went off the road and hit a tree. Two were sisters. Both sisters were decapitated! This was in about 1976. The crash was horrific and the cop that went to the scene first was sitting on the ground in shock when paramedics and police arrived and had to be transported to hospital. I’ll never forget that!! I never argued with my parents again after that day.

I had a daughter who died of an overdose about 20 years ago. She was hanging out with people and we had long discussions about the fact that I didn't like the people she was with. She was hanging out with all of them and they decided they would all shoot up crystal. When the needle plunged into my daughters arm she was dead instantly of a heart attack. Surprisingly, the large group of people she was with abandoned her dead body in our shed then called us on the phone to inform us. Young people, there are some really bad actors out there. Try to avoid them at least until you grow up a little bit and learn how to deal with people like that. What are that person's friends and relatives, parents like? Are they weird, too? Ask questions and look around a little bit.
Sir, I want you to know that I was into partying, and I got my life together before I lost it. My parents still have trauma from the years of worrying I gave them. I have completely turned my life around and that is not a part of my life any longer. Well over a decade. I’m only sharing this because I imagine you never want another parent to go through what you have. I’m sorry for the loss of your daughter, your beautiful daughter. I hope you can find some good in this, not that it will bring your daughter back, but that another family won’t lose their daughter. I made it out alive. I shouldn’t have. Omgosh this girl went through so much and she had the same bubbly personality I did. Animals are everything to me and even if I had a bad day I still smiled and wanted everyone to laugh. I also met a guy like this dude and no one understands just how slick, smart, and has a way of making you believe you can find the good in someone whose done so many horrible things. I believe she tried to save him from his misery and he played the part as if it was working. I'll NEVER forget the man I fell for turning into some evil snake that everyone warned me about but I thought I could help him. Luckily after years of the roller-coaster ride of emotions I finally broke free. It's still hard even today that I sacrificed my health from staying nervous with horrible anxiety. I worked and supported him and my friends and family saw I was slowly dying inside. I always preached to everyone in a toxic relationship to get out and don't put up with it. I sworn I'd never be like those girls controlled by a man. I reaped what I sowed and thankfully I broke free, but my health is very bad from the years of stress and I've lost my smile. I say all this because you never know what you'll do in situations especially if you're mourning from the death of ppl you love only to fall into the trap of a smooth talker.

I’m guessing she had survivor’s guilt because 6 of her friends died, and because her friends never got the opportunity to live GOOD LIVES she wanted to make sure she never got the opportunity either, hence the decision to associate with LOW LIVES. Her decisions seem to have been a form of suicide.
Isn't that where the parents come in? Instead of letting your child run amok, you step up and do your job to keep her safe because she's not mature enough to make those decisions on her own. I was thinking about the guys involved. I hung out with some real nasty people when I was a kid. Would I have been ballsy enough to say no or too afraid to? Thank God I never had to find out. I'm a very moral person, but I was extremely impressionable when I was young. The desire to fit in as a teenager will make you do crazy stuff. Actually, a girl who I really had a thing for when I was 19 tried to get me to steal cigarettes out of a truck and I told her no, even though she told me that I wasn't a man, so no. I definitely wouldn't have gone along with a murder plot.

My parents warned me against a ton of my friends, and I didn't listen, and some of them were truly awful. My ex boyfriend was incredibly abusive. Parents have a good eye, and if you're young and reading this comment, please try to listen to your parents if they typically are kind and treat you with respect. (Some parents shouldn't get this luxury)
You need parents/mentors to keep you from harm as a child, to teach you and instill a sense of right from wrong. By the time you reach young adulthood, you should be able to have the mental skills to make evaluations about the people you meet and let close to you, in other words, be able to make intelligent choices. Unfortunately some never seem to learn that skill, they end up with one loser after another, often ending up in tragic circumstances.

I feel blessed to be alive. My ex had done 20 years in prison and finally confided in me that he killed his last fiance during the end of our relationship. He had founded a large prison gang as well. He was abusive. But not at first. Isolated me slowly from family and friends. He was the most intelligent, manipulative, and charming individual I've ever known. We almost got married. It didn't happen only because the priest who met with us separately told me that he was the devil. He used those exact words. I'm glad I got away. So many don't... Like Rachel. I hope she's at peace.

Some of us carefree spirits are not known for our brains at that age. I am amazed i lived past 20 with the reckless behaviour and terrible choice of associates I had back then. In fact its probably due to my mother literally locking me up at night when i kept sneaking out my window.

I immediately called the juvenile facility and told them what I found and ordered them to stop the letters! They did. I found my father dead out at his fishing lake where he was camped. It was pure hell !!! He had a heart attack sometime early that morning, found him sitting in a chair with his head in his arms. He had a bad heart. Then went to happy's Inn and called the sheriffs office then called my mom. Then called my brother Bill, his wife Penni answered and told her the bad news, suffice to say she did not take it good, she screamed, then my Bill got on the phone and he sais is this some kind of sick joke. I said it's no joke bill dad's gone and told him to get out there as fast as he could. Told him I called the sheriffs office and they were on their way. Very sad day for me. This happened in 2000. My mom passed away in 2006 at the care center from heart failure. She died in her sleep.

When I was a teen I was obsessed with music and always at the university practicing. One Saturday I was invited to go hang out with some people from school. My mom didn’t like them and said no, you’re not going with that crowd! Period!! I was upset and went to my room mad. On Sunday morning I could hear voices in the kitchen. Those teens that asked me to go out were all killed, all 5 in a high speed chase after running from police. They were going 90 mph on a two lane road with a lot of sharp curves! At 90 mph they went off the road and hit a tree. Two were sisters. Both sisters were decapitated! This was in about 1976. The crash was horrific and the cop that went to the scene first was sitting on the ground in shock when paramedics and police arrived and had to be transported to hospital. I’ll never forget that!! I never argued with my parents again after that day.

I had a daughter who died of an overdose about 20 years ago. She was hanging out with people and we had long discussions about the fact that I didn't like the people she was with. She was hanging out with all of them and they decided they would all shoot up crystal. When the needle plunged into my daughters arm she was dead instantly of a heart attack. Surprisingly, the large group of people she was with abandoned her dead body in our shed then called us on the phone to inform us. Young people, there are some really bad actors out there. Try to avoid them at least until you grow up a little bit and learn how to deal with people like that. What are that person's friends and relatives, parents like? Are they weird, too? Ask questions and look around a little bit.

Omgosh this girl went through so much and she had the same bubbly personality I did. Animals are everything to me and even if I had a bad day I still smiled and wanted everyone to laugh. I also met a guy like this dude and no one understands just how slick, smart, and has a way of making you believe you can find the good in someone whose done so many horrible things. I believe she tried to save him from his misery and he played the part as if it was working. I'll NEVER forget the man I fell for turning into some evil snake that everyone warned me about but I thought I could help him. Luckily after years of the roller-coaster ride of emotions I finally broke free. It's still hard even today that I sacrificed my health from staying nervous with horrible anxiety. I worked and supported him and my friends and family saw I was slowly dying inside. I always preached to everyone in a toxic relationship to get out and don't put up with it. I sworn I'd never be like those girls controlled by a man. I reaped what I sowed and thankfully I broke free, but my health is very bad from the years of stress and I've lost my smile. I say all this because you never know what you'll do in situations especially if you're mourning from the death of ppl you love only to fall into the trap of a smooth talker.

At 42, it easy for me to say what was she thinking?, but I can also remember how foolish and naive I was at that age. Poor girl.
I’m guessing she had survivor’s guilt because 6 of her friends died, and because her friends never got the opportunity to live GOOD LIVES she wanted to make sure she never got the opportunity either, hence the decision to associate with LOW LIVES. Her decisions seem to have been a form of suicide.

I was thinking about the guys involved. I hung out with some real nasty people when I was a kid. Would I have been ballsy enough to say no or too afraid to? Thank God I never had to find out. I'm a very moral person, but I was extremely impressionable when I was young. The desire to fit in as a teenager will make you do crazy stuff. Actually, a girl who I really had a thing for when I was 19 tried to get me to steal cigarettes out of a truck and I told her no, even though she told me that I wasn't a man, so no. I definitely wouldn't have gone along with a murder plot.

All those hours in a DUFFEL BAG, in vehicles, in the garage, in the woods... it probably killed her in her heart a million times, just thinking about what's to come & how her loved ones were going to feel. I would rather just get a bullet to the head immediately or something quick, then to die over the course of an entire evening- or as some people are sadly killed over days, weeks, month, etc

My parents warned me against a ton of my friends, and I didn't listen, and some of them were truly awful. My ex boyfriend was incredibly abusive. Parents have a good eye, and if you're young and reading this comment, please try to listen to your parents if they typically are kind and treat you with respect. (Some parents shouldn't get this luxury)
You need parents/mentors to keep you from harm as a child, to teach you and instill a sense of right from wrong. By the time you reach young adulthood, you should be able to have the mental skills to make evaluations about the people you meet and let close to you, in other words, be able to make intelligent choices. Unfortunately some never seem to learn that skill, they end up with one loser after another, often ending up in tragic circumstances.

I feel blessed to be alive. My ex had done 20 years in prison and finally confided in me that he killed his last fiance during the end of our relationship. He had founded a large prison gang as well. He was abusive. But not at first. Isolated me slowly from family and friends. He was the most intelligent, manipulative, and charming individual I've ever known. We almost got married. It didn't happen only because the priest who met with us separately told me that he was the devil. He used those exact words. I'm glad I got away. So many don't... Like Rachel. I hope she's at peace.

Some of us carefree spirits are not known for our brains at that age. I am amazed i lived past 20 with the reckless behaviour and terrible choice of associates I had back then. In fact its probably due to my mother literally locking me up at night when i kept sneaking out my window.
