This was the first Nick Hakim song I ever heard. My brother told me about it. It's such a beautiful, emotional song. I almost feel like I might cry when I listen to it. Needless to say, I promptly went back and bought almost everything else he's released. He's just got such a unique sound, but at the same time it's familiar! I'm kinda obsessed right now. 🤦🏾♀️

This song momentarily soothes my soul and flashes memories of a woman who I deeply loved. I only have memories of her now, and she seems to be doing well in her life. I miss her a lot. The lyrics are so profound and I resonate so much with it, truly one of the best songs I've ever heard.
