He was also someone struggling with addiction. So, it was hard to tell if he acted like that because he was on something. But the thing is that that manipulative side and toxic side really was apart of him. So, it did not matter if he was on something or not. Lying all the time and twisting things to his advantage was the norm. I understand the fact that it can be really hard when you do not have someone to talk to. I did, but they still did not get it. I had this done to me many times. Once I took away ALL the sexual contact, men didnt try me like that anymore. It was somehow the case, where, when I withold sexual contact, kissing included, THEY are crazy about me. me too, mom died when I was 9, she left behind a devastated husband and 4 kids. He remarried and thereafter put his new wife and kid first. I married at age 20. Just got out of a 37 year abusive relationship, he never hit me (his claim to fame) but cheated from day 1. Our 3 kids are grown. I done git gone. So happy now I cry. Wish I could have found TG earlier!

Got engaged 2014, I just turned 30 in September and walked away July 26, 2020 with my two children son 10 and a daughter 6 she is ours together and haven't looked back. Yes I cried, but I knew in my heart that, that wasn't for me. I've been happier every since focusing on self care self love, healing spiritual, physically and mentally and focusing on myself and my children.

None of my acquaintances at the time got it cuz they were used to having relationships with them. I knew they were wrong, but didn't know who to talk to because all of my family and close friends were single or had only been in one, maybe two, committed relationships. I just learned to walk away after realizing that I didn't like the way that the guy's actions made me feel about myself after I tried reasoning with him about his red flags. Nina Johnson What you wrote at last was so profound. I also tried to tell him about how his behaviour affected me, which he seemed to care about, but he did it again and again. He was also someone struggling with addiction. So, it was hard to tell if he acted like that because he was on something. But the thing is that that manipulative side and toxic side really was apart of him. So, it did not matter if he was on something or not. Lying all the time and twisting things to his advantage was the norm. I understand the fact that it can be really hard when you do not have someone to talk to. I did, but they still did not get it. And I came to the same realization as you. This person should not have the opportunity to bring me down. He knew I was going places and he was not. I will only let positive people in and people who add something to my life.

I'm glad I found these. My husband is abusive, walks out the door don't care, cheated on me, walks all over me and after 16 years I AM DONE. He left Friday thought it was a joke came back today found out it wasn't. I'm working on moving with my daughters. It's hard because I have peripheral neuropathy sometimes I'm in a lot of pain , can't work but I have a plan. I suffer from depression due to childhood abuse. He told me a month or so back to go kill myself. I feel stuck no family nowhere I can go. I will get out of here! These videos ARE HELPING ME!

I had this done to me many times. Once I took away ALL the sexual contact, men didnt try me like that anymore. It was somehow the case, where, when I withold sexual contact, kissing included, THEY are crazy about me. However, when I was giving them some sort of sexual contact ( like kissing, making out ) THEY felt like they had power over me. I am still a V but even kissing , something I used to think was normal, reduced my power. These days, I only allow HOLDING HANDS as MAX!

My guy have been commenting and giving compliments on my friend’s selfies on her posts a bit too friendly with heart emoji. My gut feeling was telling me he’s trying to get me jealous. i asked him what’s going on. He became so defensive and told me my question was ludicrous and I was being too sensitive again. I told him the problem is he’s not sensitive enough to acknowledge and understand what I’m feeling. He told me he doesn’t like to be questioned and doesn’t like to admit he’s wrong. Oh hell no. After I told him we’re done, he then said we should stop fighting and that i have nothing to be jealous about and that it’s me he loves. I told him I don’t have time for mind games and blocked him on social media. Haven’t talked to him since then and i have no intention of doing so ever again. This happened just a few days ago. It hurts but I can’t put myself in such a toxic situation and I’ll get over sooner or later. I’d rather be alone enjoying my peace of mind. Thank you for this!❤

Absolutely, but women are different. Men know which women they can play with and which women they better step to correctly. My husband has NEVER called me out of my name or raised his voice at me. Likewise I have never to him either. That is called mutual respect. Women either demand it or get shanked.

22 years old & been in only 1 serious relationship but man was it hell. I'm glad i learnt my lessons early on in life. It taught me that If i feel like something is up it most definitely is up. If a guy starts shady behaviour, consistent one day & then isn't, without any *sensible* explanation as to why? he has to go. Block his number. Sometimes I feel like i'm being too harsh but no not really. Doing anything other than that is a waste of time. These guys will play you to death and have you looking so crazy & I cannot think of anything worse tbh. Anyone can & will get blocked
