Dream truck right there, I have a '02 Ranger with the FX4 package and she does pretty good off road. The Ranger Raptor looks like an entirely different beast. Hopefully can save enough to get one some day

The benchmark of mid-size trucks! The only con I can find of this truck is the payload, but it’s not a deal breaker as it makes up for a great ride and handling balance. Man what else do you want? A truck that can get groceries, transport your tools and lumber for your workplace, cruise down the highway comfortably, hoon on the dunes, rock crawl if needed to, and do power slides on your daily commute 😆. I know there’s no vehicle that’s 💯perfect. But this is as close a vehicle especially a truck can get to being perfect. The size is also kinda perfect, not too long or wide. Kudos to Ford for the great achievement!
I wish i was able to get a RR but i have no complaints with getting my 19 Raptor back. Still under 80k miles with 0 issues. I love all Raptors. If i was a millionaire id collect them lol.
Just picked up my Ranger Raptor. I’m glad to see how many other people are happy with it. I’m not planning on running it as hard as I see others, but I do have some property in the country where this thing will get around nicely.
The noodle sold me on the Ranger Raptor, love it. 😜 100% my next vehicle purchase.

I've had my Ranger Raptor since 2022 here in Australia. Driving it like a 4WD dirtbike and forward today nothing has broken-- well apart from a set of tyres.
As a ranger raptor owner, It actually has a trail turn assist but u to activate it by using a ford program on a computer to access the car software (i don't remember the name of the program) and unlock the trail turn assist
Love this truck. I wish GM would put this kind of power in the Colorado ZR2.
You’ve pretty much sold me on one of these. The power over the new Land Cruiser’s I4 and the Fox Live Valve shocks for a lesser price seems… like a no brainer!

I have a build date set for the week of Sept 30th. Please Ford, make me a nice tight truck. This is my first "enthusiast" vehicle that I'm purchasing and to be honest, I'm a little nervous. But I'm getting one towards the end of the model year so I'm hoping the factory has things ironed out. I picked shelter green and can't wait to see the color in person.

@shaananwalsh7513 thanks I appreciate that! I looked at all the trucks in the segment starting with the bison/atx4 denali, then trd pro, frontier pro4x, and the ranger raptor has the total package for my needs, and the TTV6!
Very nice, How long did it take for you to get a build date? My order was accepted 2 months ago and I still don’t have a build date.
@joesands23 I was told I secured an upcoming allocation on May 28th that was supposed to be built and shipped in August. Come late july, I had no update and read online @fordauthority that the 24 model year production was being cut short because of global parts shortage. I contacted my dealer asking them if that affected the build time of my truck. I was told my truck was there, then it wasn't there, then my "order got lost in the system" and they had no explanation. I asked them if they sold my truck by accident and they insisted no, and they would contact their reps and figure out what happened. Worse case scenario, they would put in an order for me and "prioritize" it because of my situation. I waited until the last possible day to order a truck, july 31st, and they put an order in for me. I got the build date 4 days ago. So it's been a 3 month wait until now, probably a 5-7 month wait in total. But I got it at MSRP, so to save $5-10k markups, I'll be patient because these trucks are flying off the dealer lots at $5k markup at least.
Cool trucks, I hate the orange accents though. It reminds me of people with no money and no taste who want to customize their vehicle 😂

Great mid-size off-road truck. Too bad they don't have cooled seats. That's a minor, yet important, deal breaker for me. Chevy/GMC don't ride as well, but they do have cooled seats.
This truck gets down I gotta have one lol I seen one last week on the road looks nice in person the way the fenders look from the back all of it the new front end looks mean

The Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts are a way better tire, and that’s coming from a KO2 and KO3 fan. My Raptor got switched to Mickeys and I don’t see myself going back

In terms. what is the closest one can get to a ranger raptor either on and off the streets? 2 door broncos is what im considering both sasquatch, but not sure if to go with 2.3 mt or 2.7, both would get tuned with the ford performance tune... Any experiences from anyone?
I’m a huge Toyota fan, so I like the Taco TRD Pro, but for about the same price, the Raptor seems way better. How is the reliability on the Raptor?
TRD Pro anything is kind of facade in my option. I went back and forth between the Tundra and Raptor, the Raptor is definitely meant for off road. The TRD Pro was nice but was more for looking the part than being about it in my opinion. Loving the Raptor.
Ford has been doing twin turbo V6's for a long time...whilst Toyota has to replace 100,000 of theirs in the Tundra, and an entire generation of Taco's have frames that have rotted away necessitating an entire frame replacement. Ford as a whole has a ton of issues at the corporate level and with recalls/reliability overall, but Toyota of today isn't the Toyota of yesterday. They have been coasting on the "reliability" thing for years. I'm a Taco fan and have had several (most recent was a '19 TRDOR), but now have a Ranger Raptor. To me, the RR is in a completely different league (in a better way). Also note-in the US, the TRD PRO is about $5-$10K more than a Ranger Raptor. RR's can be found at or under sticker, the TRDPro are typically being marked up. Lastly, the Taco TRDPro has a useless rear seat (due to the wonkavator front seats in it)...
If you have a family like I do the Tacoma back seats are a deal breaker. They are terrible.

I think the ranger raptor is probably the number 1 midsize truck buttt it’s just too pricey compared to the frontier, ridgeline, and Tacoma
A comparable taco is like 10k more, and the other two aren't even remotely comparable, regardless of trim lmao
