In Germany we call this style "Jugendstil", which translates to "style of the youth". It was highly appreciated in the very beginning of the twentieth century, before the first big war. Very nicely done. Looks awesome. ^_^
Well well well... Your are making my blacksmith itch more itchier than i would like. I stopped smithing 4-5 years ago. And man how i miss it. Great work... i like the variety and interest of your work. You do it simple but elegantly. Well done sir.
Awesome build! Genuine functioning hinges, why not impossible are still quite a project. Having built a Hobbit playhouse for my grandkids I used conventional heavy duty door hardware on the inside, and decorative on the outside. My hardware in no way compared to the beautiful work you have forged. Wish I had seen this video, although your work will remain “aspirational” for me!
THIS! It actually answered several of my ponderings on how to attach an ornate hinge to a door. So it's nails as opposed to "rivots". Muchly appreciated! BTW you are the driving inspiration to this project! 🙏🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️
This lady really loves adding extra weight on that door. She really trust your hinge.
Great job! And a wonderful design from Victoria! Greetings from Ukraine! ⚒

@@Sheepdog1314 In Sweden this style is also called Jugend. Very organic looking with lots of round shapes.
You should get sponsored by Metalblade records. Every time you wear a shirt for a band I've never heard of I pause the video and go check it out.

It's fascinating to watch you make hammered metal lace.
