@@SciNewsRo Yeah, I was talking about the RD-107s of the boosters and core stage. Those use decomposition of H2O2 in hot steam and oxygen to drive the pumps, just like the V2. I was not trying to be offensive to Russian rocket engineers. I know that some of their designs are the best,with the RD-170 and "descendants" being the best kerosene engines in the world. Or that expander cycle hydrolox upper stage engine that has the highest isp for chemical thrusters.
