I don't want to spend 335$, plus shipping on a knife 😢. But I did .😅 Love it.❤ Fell in love with design. Got the green micarta scales and stone washed blade.
Yeah Reate is my favorite OEM, I’ve had tons of knives made by them. Bestech however is a very close second, they’ve really stepped their game up and in some ways surpass Reate. Especially when it comes to plunge grinds, trust me you won’t be disappointed with the quality of this knife all the way around! 🔥🔪👍👊😎
Got mine and love it but unfortunately I bought an extra set of scales and when trying to reverse the screw that holds the pocket clip it stripped. Now I can’t change the scales or even take it apart to clean. I feel like the screws are very shallow and do not grab very well.
Oh, bummer! I did mention that the screws are shallow at 3:44 in the video. Is it the screw that's stripped, or the hole? It does come with an extra set of hardware, so if it's the screw you can just switch it out. If not, I would contact Griffin and see if they can help.
I have Griffin knives and Benchmade knives….my Griffin X and F series beat the benchmade by leaps and bounds… the steel and action out of the box are superior… there’s knife companies overpricing their product based upon the belief “American made” is best…. American manufacturing has been on a steady decline for years… I’m going to spend my money where I get value and quality. Griffin products offer both in my opinion….and I’m not dogging anyone with that mindset but expanding your view on some products can be beneficial
Thanks for the alert! I have no idea why that flag is coming up. That's the official company website. I removed the ".com" at the end and now the link goes to the website without any warnings -- at least on my browser. Please let me know if you still have issues.
It won’t let me respond so I’ll try this way. It is so hard with so much of our goods coming from over seas but at least in the knife world it’s easy. If it comes from china I won’t buy it. Just to clarify because I know someone is going to respond. I am by no means acting self righteous and I could care less how others spend their money. I just can’t do it! There are so many amazing American knife companies so I see no reason to support Chinese businesses that are actively hurting the American knife industry.
I totally get it, and I respect it. I'm just not willing to cut myself off from so many excellent knives. There's also the fact the designer is American, the blade steel is made in America, etc., so it's not like all the money is going overseas. There are certainly great all-American knife companies, but let's be real, some of them are not so great, and others are engaging in some price gouging.
I love mine. I got the orange g10

Reminds me of a Liong Mah design. I wish Reate OEM'ed
I'm a big fan of Reate, but it would probably cost $50 more if they OEM'd it, and I don't think the quality would be noticeably different.

It is just the screw need to buy a small extractor bit see if I can get it out it seems to be stuck in there pretty well.
@@rolandalanis1580 Good luck with it.

Very good 👍 item
Speak up!
Did you find the volume too low? It seems fine on my end. My levels were actually clipping a bit.

@@BladeLabMiamithat fixed it thanks
$335 and they couldn't even include a reversible pocket clip? Giant L
They make a whole lefty model. Research before you comment. Humongous L 😂😂😂😂
@@Southernknife_addict Yes, you are a humongous L.
Uh, 5 minutes in and I still don't know the blade steel. Not important to BL I guess.
That's why the review is almost 20 minutes long. 😉
Made by bestech so the answer is a resounding NO
Out of curiosity, is that because you object to any Chinese brand, or is it something specific to Bestech?

ALL American made products are involved in price gouging.
