I was fidgeting mine this AM, kaboom, blade flew off. Just PU 2 weeks ago. No fault to the knife, i didn't think i needed to watch out for a loose screw as of yet. So it was the last knife i wanted to take apart, but no choice. Fairly new to knives, but. Because Vu Pham has a video out just doing a disassembly of the FG i did it. Lost the spring 4 times and screw twice. But it all worked out. Thanks to this Gentleman. Thnks
Hey. Ya, what your saying tracks with mine. I have the same version of the FG. I do like the square cut course micarta, personally. One thing you didn't focus on is the ridiculously cool acoustics. The 'dark green' micarta with the black coated blade/metal is classy and versatile, but I rather wish I had done the PFE with silver metal to have more bling to it. Great knife. ✨😺
I have one on the way and I kinda just imagined that the lock would be a lot like a flipper to my index finger. All you do is pull down I know the mechanics are a little different but it’s just pulling down with your finger.
No issues with mine, but I have had a few reach out about it. I am not sure, but I think flicking it hard a bunch of times to break it in maybe? Maybe there's a bur somewhere ?
Thanks for watching! The sentinel looks nice! I wanted the Vision the first time around for the mechanism. Being a guy that loves taking things apart, I was interested in the mechanics!
I feel the same and have the Sentinel on its way as well (was supposed to be delivered today but USPS sucks right now). The vision is starting to grow on me now though.
You can remove one of the scales and then take out the stop pin behind the lock bar. I bought one to give it a whirl and put some skiffs in it today. I can't put it down now! Very addictive fidgeting.
I don’t love what Civivi calls “Micarta” on most of their knives. The Micarta on my Chevalier is okay, but still not even close to as good as the canvas Micarta on the Kizer Mad Tanto, or the Blade HQ exclusive CJRB mini Feldspar I like the looks of the Vision though. Love the blade shape.

I think I’m going to have to grab one of these now. Wasn’t a fan but it’s growing on me.

Man i love that knife wish i could afford one, but for now will to just enjoy watching how much you love it...
Just realized this is a new knife and it's around 80 dollars hell yeah that's my range to score one, next payday bam she coming home to daddy lol!

I do like the Shark Lock so I really want to try this and the Atlas Lock. I'm def a nut for that stuff.

They put a pin to keep the lock in and the clip is on the side. I hope mine get here tomorrow or Saturday along with my Sentinel Strike

I wasnt really a fan of the visions but the more i see of the fg, i kinda want it
I think this may be a better version. The clip placement allows for better grip
